Niyaaz Restaurant, Tilakwadi — Restaurant in Karnataka

I went with my family just to have light dinner because half dinner was already done at home. Had tried ordering from Swiggy from 2 restuarants but they failed to deliver in both the cases .So finally had to take car out and go to whichever place was open .Found Niyaaz open and went in.

Mr. Ravi Chavhan came to take the order .We asked him for 1 Biryani he said take 2 , we don't have anything called as full biryani but half only. So I asked him for Menu when I looked at it there was nothing called as half or full but just Biryani.I asked him how much quantity and he showed how much portion it would be .We ordered 1 thinking later if required we will order , he said later we may not get (not sure why he said or it was just to convicence us to order 2) .That was ok with us since we wanted to have light dinner and weren't so hungry. We found his behaviour to be rude and he was talking with attitude as if we are going to have it for free .But I just ignored it and moved on.

Later when the food was ready to be served , he tells serving person they have ordered only 1 Biryani, later if they ask one more Biryani say no or do not give them .We were sitting just in front when this was told by Mr.Ravi to serving person . After hearing this I lost my cool , called him to the table and asked what he meant . When I rose my voice he went into defensive mode and tried to change his words and convince me he didn't say it like that . He also said only 1 Biryani is left bla bla bla bla. I was loud when the conversation happened and no manager or any senior person came in to ask what happened .

After 1 Biryani was over and we asked to get 1 more it was served to us , so don't know how how and from where it came. So not sure what was the problem at first place and why so much of attitude!!! Just because he was caught Red handed he made story of only 1 Biryani left .

My recent visit to Niyaaz in Belgaum was an absolute delight! This restaurant is well-known for its flavorful dishes, and it truly lived up to its reputation.

I started with their Chicken Biryani, and it was simply outstanding! The rice was aromatic, perfectly spiced, and the chicken was tender and juicy. Each bite was packed with rich, authentic flavors that made it one of the best biryanis I’ve had.

To complement the meal, we ordered Cheese Garlic Naan and Butter Naan, both of which were incredibly soft and fresh. The Cheese Garlic Naan was a standout—gooey, cheesy, and infused with just the right amount of garlic, making every bite heavenly. The Butter Naan was perfectly fluffy and paired beautifully with the Paneer Kurchan. The paneer was soft, the gravy was rich and creamy, and the flavors were well-balanced, making it a perfect vegetarian delight.

Apart from the fantastic food, the service was quick and efficient, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making the experience even better.

Overall, Niyaaz exceeded my expectations with its top-notch food quality, great service, and reasonable pricing. Whether you’re a fan of biryani, naan, or rich curries, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming back for another...
