ISKCON stated it Mysuru chapter in a rented Gikulam house 1998. Now they shifted to Jayanagar 18th cross.
Totally the temple campus is of 9 Acers area alloted by Govt of Karnataka by G.O.
Now it has one temporary temple hall with ashram attached to it.
They started the main temple construction and expected a beautiful structure in next 2 to 3 years of time.
Also the have Akshaya Patra kitchen serving midday meals around 40 thousand school children every day.(Ofcours due to covid schools are not operating now so the Akshaya Patra). The temple got the well equipped hygienic higer end technology kitchen with the international standards. Akshaya Patra is a NGO operating in collaboration with Karnataka Govt. The food prasadam served to school children is of high spiritual values which is Matchless and delicious.
They have a Sridham Community Hall - ISKCON. This place is suitable for functions like marriage, naming ceremony, birthday etc..The income from this place is fully utilized for the purpose of temple development.
Also the temple has GOSHALA and one can get pure organic milk here.
The temple has book counter.
Also they have beautiful AV Hall for conducting spiritual programs for college students. (Friends of Lord Krishna -FOLKs)
Every Sunday it is special here. Morning SriMad Baghavatham discourse Will be held from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM followed by free morning delicious Krishna Prasadam.Evening BagavatGita discourse between 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM followed by delicious Krishna Prasadam.
There are totally five different kitchen in the temple campus. Deity Kitchen Public Prasadam Kitchen Higher Taste - Touch stone Kitchen Akshaya Patra kitchen community Hall kitchen.
Touch Stone is sub unit of ISKCON Mysuru for the purpose of preparing Prasadam for counter sells . It will be operated only on Sundays and festival days. They also have catering service through Touch Stone.
The main festivals are Krishna Janmastami Balarama Jayanthi Radhastami Nityananda Tryodasi Gurapurnuma Vyasa Poiha Narashima Jayanthi Vamana Jayanthi Ramanavami Panihati chida dahi utsava Lord Varaha Jayanthi Gita Fest Etc.
The very grand festivals are Rata Yates Dhasara - Ravan Dhan Govardana Looks Etc...
Every month at least one or two festivals are there as per ISKCON Calendar and all are spiritual important ones.
They have beautiful Tulasi garden and flower garden
Parking is not at an issue.
One should take to devotees here who are humble to help us to understand Krishna Consciousness.

Read moreIt was the year 1992, the construction of building a grandeur temple for Lord Krishna at Hare Krishna Hill, Bangalore had already started and the devotees were fully focusing on conducting outreach programs along with mobilizing funds for completing this magnificent temple. It was during then, His Grace Jai Chaitanya Prabhu look a leading step and independently organised a massive Ratha Yatra in Mysuru which made way for planting the seed of Krishna consciousness among the thousands of devotees who enthusiastically participated in the festival.
Later, on completion of this sprawling temple at Hare Krishna Hill, Bangalore in the year 1997, the devotees wishing to spread the movement further, took lead steps in conducting many more preaching programs in various cities of Karnataka. Thus, His Grace Jai Chaitanya Prabhu and His Grace Stoka Krishna Prabhu started visiting Mysuru frequently for conducting various outreach programs. Further, His Grace Stoka Krishna Prabhu, who was entrusted with the service of translating Srimad Bhagavatam and Chaitanya Charitamrita into Kannada, made a gateway for making trips to Mysuru regularly which also helped in reaching to many more devotees in the city.
Seeing the overwhelming response from the people of Mysuru, there felt a need of starting a preaching centre here and thus in the year 1999, His Grace Stoka Krishna Prabhu along with few other devotees rented a house in Gokulam to house the deities of Sri Sri Krishna Balarama, which began the journey of ISKCON, Mysuru. Further, as the congregation grew in numbers, the necessity of a larger place to conduct the preaching activities was felt.
