Captain Lakshmi Park — Attraction in Kerala

I recently visited a local park in the evening and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The park was well-maintained and had a calming atmosphere, with plenty of trees and greenery providing a natural backdrop. The weather was perfect, with a gentle breeze blowing and the sun setting in the distance. The park was quiet and peaceful, with only a few other visitors around, creating a serene environment.

As I walked around the park, I noticed several amenities that were available for use. There were well-lit walking paths that were perfect for a leisurely stroll, and benches scattered throughout the park for those who wanted to sit and relax. Additionally, there were several play areas for children, including swings, slides, and climbing structures. The park also had a small pond with ducks swimming around, which added to the overall ambiance of the park.

Overall, my experience at the evening park was wonderful. It was a great place to unwind and connect with nature after a long day. I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable...

The Captain Laskhmi Park, which is located just opposite to Kanakakunnu Palace, is a great piece of attraction. This is a newly innovated park that was under the control of Kerala Water Authority. It has many seating capacity and is an amazing place to spend your evening especially with your children.

The best time to visit this place is after 6'0 clock where all the lights are being lit up and will give you an amazing feel good experience. A small park for kids is also arranged here. Activities like human chess playing board is also set up and a skating area is also provided here.

What I didn't like is about their maintenance. Even though the place is renovated on November of 2022, the fountains are not working and the water inside it is much dirty.

They can also include many more activities for the kids to make it more enjoyable and lively. It would be a better option for them to provide a small cafeteria inside the park where small snacks can be...

Positives: The park is at a quite accessible location and at the center of the city. I really liked the idea of having many parks close by. All the play equipments and accessories were working when we visited. It definitely gives a lot of enthusiasm and energy to the kid seeing so many others playing. A way for them to learn to cooperate and share.

Negative: Park premises are not maintained well. The fountains did not work and there were mosquitoes forming up in the dirty stagnant water at several places in the park. A significant concern is about the safety and that leads me to reduce 2 stars in the review. The park is arranged in multiple layers on a slope. There's no separation or protection against falling/skidding between the layers. It's dangerous for toddlers since they keep running without carefully observing premises.
