Great Ambience with great view of sunset. I found this as the kochis best place to relax. I really love to visit this place a very frequently. You can play small games with your kids. Best place for a walk or exercise. You can have ice-cream. It has a lot of parking area you can park around 100 cars and 200 bikes. It is crowded at weekends. You can sea the beauty of vembanad lake . Cons: heavy mosquito bites at night and smell of clay when there is less water in the lake. Best place for kite flying. A nice place to walk along the highway both during dusk and dawn and there are even lamp posts which light up during night. I just posted some of the pictures of the walkway in our group and not a single person could identify this beautiful place.. Some said it is in Kumarakom and some outside Kerala..

Cochin Port Trust (COPT) Avenue Walkway is a hidden gem right in Kochy. It is a newly renovated 2.1 km long walkway connecting Thoppumpady and Kannanghat bridges. many trees are planted here to provide shade and a parking area of around 200 cars is also available just at the main road side. There is an e-toilet right at the end of the walkway. In between there are benches, dust bins are also provided. When we went the place was neat & tidy. To the end there is a children's playing area for below 10yrs old.
