Urban paratha Willingdon — Restaurant in Kerala

As a Zomato delivery partner, I’ve had the opportunity to deliver orders from Urban Paratha several times. Recently, I mistakenly posted a negative review regarding delayed orders, which was a misunderstanding on my part. However, I must say, the restaurant’s management handled the situation in the most professional and helpful way possible. They quickly reached out to me, clarified the reason behind the delays, and assured me that they were taking steps to improve. The communication was clear, polite, and they genuinely took the time to explain everything.

I truly appreciate how the management took ownership of the issue and worked to resolve it in a timely manner. This level of professionalism and care for customer feedback is not something I see every day, and it really stood out to me. Additionally, every time I’ve picked up from Urban Paratha, the food has always been packed securely and arrives fresh, with customers consistently being happy with their meals.

1st time visited the outlet, knowing that I have had taken food from delivery from vytilla outlet . The ambience was very nice but the food was really a let down started with a tomato soup which was a total let down it was purely a sweet soup only with sugar in it and no flavour of tomato and no salt at all. Later followed by the platter of veg starters which was good but only let down was the cauliflower was undercooked, the main course which was methi malai mutter was utter disappointment since it was very much sweeter than the soup, when enquired they told it's already sweet, yes I have had methi malai in different other restaurants also not as sweet as this, the manager however tried to improvise the dish and make it into a yellow curry so thoughtful of him anyway was a very bad experience based on the experience what I had. Disappointed This Time Despite Being a Regular (order via zomato)

I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for a long time and have always enjoyed the food. But today’s experience was quite disappointing. I had ordered Paneer Kolhapuri and Half Tandoori Chicken.

The gravy of the Paneer Kolhapuri was flavorful and well-prepared, but the quantity of paneer cubes was shockingly low. For the price I paid, the portion didn’t feel justified at all. I’ve ordered the same dish before and I know how it used to be—this was clearly below their usual standard.

The Tandoori Chicken was another letdown. The meat was hard, and it lacked the usual smoky flavor. Not sure what went wrong this time, but the quality was far from what I’ve come to expect from this place.
