Mhatoba Mandir in Pune is a hidden gem that beautifully blends spirituality and tranquility. Nestled in the picturesque Sahyadri mountains, this temple is dedicated to Lord Mhatoba, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by a serene atmosphere that invites reflection and peace.

The temple's architecture is impressive, showcasing intricate carvings and vibrant murals that tell stories from Hindu mythology. The main idol of Lord Mhatoba is stunning, adorned with fresh flowers and offerings, creating a visually captivating experience. The temple is well-maintained, and the cleanliness adds to the overall positive vibe.

It’s heartwarming to see people come together in devotion and celebration. The management also engages in community service initiatives, which reflects their commitment to social welfare.

The surrounding natural beauty enhances the experience, making it an ideal spot for meditation and relaxation. Whether you are seeking spiritual solace or simply want to enjoy the scenic views, Mhatoba Mandir is a must-visit.

Recent developments include an open gym and designated areas for yoga and group exercises, catering to fitness enthusiasts and families seeking a peaceful outing.Devotees appreciate the temple's well-maintained premises and the sense of tranquility it imparts. However, some visitors have noted that the temple's architecture is relatively simple and that the area can become crowded on weekends. 1st rule - Don't visit on weekends. Place is hard to miss and too much popular in local youngsters. It's so much famous and hence crowded with hooligans that it's worthless to visit. 2nd rule - walk. Narrow road to temple is all blocked by tempo & commercial vehicle. No space available for parking. Better to park your vehicle little far from this place. Local goons park their SUVs near temple blocking access to general people. In addition there are parking of dumpster vehicles. Guruji in temple shows his devotion by shouting on loudspeaker against couples coming to temple and also wanted to grab shorts if anyone was found wearing one. But he ignored a photoshoot going inside temple which was obstructing path. People said that there was a small temple on hill few years back but as money started pouring in Hinjewadi, temple was renovated. Temple itself is beautiful and well decorated. Sunset and view of nearby IT park is stunning. You may have bear smell from water treatment plant at backside. All in all great place to avoid...
