Bit good place as original structure is remain same till now. Wagh darvaja is place good. But as Panhala Became Nagar Parishad area so it is kind of village and you need to find Panhala Fort over there. This is sad truth of Panhala Fort. People make some monuments of Baji prabhu Deshpande and all the legends. But you don't get feel of it.

Wagh Darwaja is one of the constructions on Panhala fort which is in very good condition. You can hardly find a stone which is hampered or fallen down from the structure, the structure is almost intact. The actual entrance to Tabak Udyan is from the Wagh Darwaja. The entry fee to Tabak Udyan is to be paid at the Wagh Darwaja.

Another of structure which is still standing on Panhala gad. No information board regarding it. Entry to this point is lost in food stalls. You need to enter through Tabak Garden gate to reach here through stairs. There is another garden inside for which separate entry ticket is available here.
