experience at Hotel Gouri Dining in Panhala.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were met with a lack of hospitality and rudeness. Despite there being enough room at the 6 seater table for our group of five, we were rudely asked to move to a smaller table as we were not a full party of six. This type of treatment immediately set a negative tone for the rest of our dining experience.
When we finally sat down and placed our order for three dishes, we were forced to order two additional dishes by the staff. They insisted that because we were a party of five, we needed to order five dishes. This made no sense to us and felt like a ploy to upsell us on items we did not want. To make matters worse, they threatened to delay our food order by 30 minutes if we did not comply. This type of manipulation and pressure is uncalled for and unacceptable in any dining establishment.
To add insult to injury, when we asked for some basic mutton and veg dishes as listed on the menu, we were informed that they were not available. It is incomprehensible how a restaurant, especially one with a well-known reputation like Hotel Gauri Dining, could be out of staple menu items. This lack of preparedness and foresight reflects poorly on the management and overall experience of the guests.
Overall, our first visit to Hotel Gauri Dining was a complete disaster. The rude and unwelcoming attitude of the staff, the pressure to order more food than desired, and the unavailability of basic menu items left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. Just because a restaurant is popular does not give them the right to treat customers poorly and provide subpar service.
We left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and disheartened by our experience. It is clear that Hotel Gauri Dining needs to improve their customer service and overall operations if they wish to retain loyal customers and attract new ones. We will not be returning to this establishment and would not recommend it to others based on our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis establishment has gained widespread fame for its signature dish, Kala Mutton, and I can confidently say that it lives up to the lofty expectations. It's a gastronomic delight, and their Mutton Thali, priced at Rs 300, and the Chicken Thali, at Rs 250, are experiences you shouldn't miss.
What makes these thalis truly exceptional is the inclusion of two essential Kolhapuri gravies ā Tambda and Pandhara Rassa. These distinct, spicy, and flavorful concoctions are the hallmark of Kolhapuri cuisine, and you'll be treated to an explosion of tastes that will have your taste buds dancing with joy.
While the food is outstanding, be prepared for a short wait of about 10-15 minutes for your order. But let me assure you, the patience will be handsomely rewarded with a meal that's not just scrumptious but also freshly prepared.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all food enthusiasts. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. It's an excellent spot to experience the authentic taste of Kala Mutton and other Kolhapuri specialties. If you have a penchant for spicy and flavorful dishes, this is a culinary adventure you'll thoroughly enjoy. So, venture forth and indulge in the tantalizing flavors of this eatery; it's a food journey you won't...

I'll suggest travel who is visiting to jyotiba and panhala on same day... don't miss tha chance
just consider some important things kitchen is open till 3.30 for lunch
sharing of thali is not allowed (Empty thali) kolhapur style not available so you cannot share thali 1by2.
however, there is other way. Instead of empty thali, go for andakari thali and kala mutton thali ... in this case you can share the thali's with each other.
Rates are okay and nominal...
but again if you are hungry for taste then it is correct options for you.
fortunately we dont have wait...
