Gorai Khadi — Attraction in Mumbai

Gorai Khadi (also known as Gorai Creek) is kind of an end point. You have to cross this creek to reach Pagoda or Essel World/ Water Kingdom or Gorai village. There are ferries at particular time to get to these places.

If you are coming from Borivali Station, take bus no. A-294, it will drop you exactly on the entrance gate. Or you will get share-a-rickshaw to Gorai Creek.

If you want to spend an evening watching sunset, this is a good go to place. You need not have to purchase ticket for that.

It's a creek so don't expect the feeling of being on a beach. Still the place is good to spend a moment preferably in evening after 4-5pm or early morning otherwise the beats on you very hard.

The place sometimes stinks and mosquitoes are around you if the wind is not hard.

You can catch aferry to go to the other side of creek, have a walk and come back.

Gorai khadi is creek between Mumbai's northern suburb Borivali & Gorai village which is situated on Western shore of Arebian sea. Gorai creek has ferry service to cross the creek.
