Kababchini Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

Once my favourite restaurant, their service is totally fugged up now. The owner lady is very rude. Promised my home delivery in 45 minutes, I waited for 75 still didn't receive, moreover they had turned off their phone on account of "rush". So I went to the restaurant to enquire about my order. She said delivery boy had already left. For all the inconvenience I was caused, I asked for some mere discount, but out of ego, she called up the delivery guy and straight away cancelled my order. In my earlier takeaway, they goofed up my nonveg soup with veg and charged me for nonveg.

EDIT: The owner has lied in the comment saying it took 55 minutes. It had taken 75 minutes, that's why I had to get up and go to the restaurant myself, even though it was a home delivery. Mr. Owner, I started this review by saying "Once my favourite restaurant....". Why would I "spread lies" about stuff that I love? As managers, it's your responsibility to maintain that relationship with your customers, especially regular visitors. You disappointed me, I gave the review! Speaking of discount, you didn't even hesitate to cancel the order right away, why? Because it was standard chicken biryani order, you could just as easily deliver/serve it to someone...

We had my husband's birthday lunch party at Kababchini..... Experience was good... AC room has two long tables and two small tables. For our family of 15 ppl, two big tables worked just fine. We ordered paya soup, Kabab platter and family pack chicken dum biryani..... Taste was yammy... Full paisa vasul! We had Gulabjam for dessert. It was tasty too.

Areas need improvement: *Not everything on menu is available. Fish Surmai wasn't available. In dessert, only Gulabjam was available though Angry basundi is on menu. *Need to add few items on menu- like solkadhi, more dessert options. Waiting for order time need to be shortened. Service need to be more prompt too.

However overall experience was satisfactory. There is scope for...

In the midst of glamour and internet there are some underrated dogs which donot get great attention. This place is one of them. No classy ambience , no fancy interiors...But the food that they provide is worth a try. Also you will get full value for the amount you spend

Just a regular dine in place with tandoor as their speciality. Ordered for chicken boti, chicken kheema and chicken biryani. All these had outstanding taste. Infact a newspaper has printed their article as well which says best biryani in borivali, and I would definitely second that.

If you just going for food then this is the place to visit. They have an ac and no ac...
