We visited Maruti Pav Bhaji and were surprised to know that they have a wonderful dining area on the first floor which is air conditioned. As the name suggests, it was their special 'black' pav bhaji which is the speciality here. However, their menu boasts of some other varieties as well.
Tadka Cheese Pav Bhaji (Highly recommended)
A rich creamy Pav Bhaji made with a blend of cheese, pav bhaji and the choicest of spices. Lip-smacking and really tasty.
Cheese Pav Bhaji
Mouthwatering pav bhaji with loads of cheese poured over. The combination with buttery pav is absolutely delicious.
Cheese Tawa Pulao
Fragrant Basmati rice with aromatic spices, herbs and stock with cheese sprinkled all over. We ordered half quantity and even that ended up being quite filling for us.
Babu Pav (Non spicy)
Babu Pav was basically butter pav with coriander sprinkled over. We really wanted to have the masala pav which had onion and tomato chutney but since that was spicy, we opted for babu pav which was non spicy.
P.S. This is a pure vegetarian restaurant and they serve Jain food too. Overall this place had a wonderful ambience and their staff was courteous too. Not only can you come here with your family or friends but even if there's a large group as they have...
Read moreI have came across multiple PAV BHAJI joints which are known for their excellent taste & this place was also in my bucket list which I hadn’t. One of colleague recommended me to this place as they were very famous in Borivali serving Pav bhaji since 1970 & they have outlet in Vile parle as well. As soon as you entered you see their open kitchen & seating arrangement is on top floor. It’s kinda house shape interior they have designed which looks decent. They have limited set of food items in their menu but after trying food I found up to mark. I tried below items.
MASALA PAV [5/5] Start your food with this as a appetiser. They marinate pav with coriander kind of masala along with butter. Its really taste so delicious.
MASALA PAPAD [2/3]
BLACK PAVBHAJI [4.9/5] Bhaji was completely different than our usual pav bhaji (red gravy). Its taste so yummy & very difficult to stop after one bite. Give it a try.
CHEESE TADKA PAVBHAJI [5/5] Bhaji has some cheesy tadka in it & you can feel grated cheese along with thick gravy while having it with pav. Slightly it gets creamy plus masaledar taste.
CARAMEL CUSTARD [5/5] RABDI [5/5] RABDI is highly recommended & I bet you will like this.

Read moreOn my way back home from town , I wanted a place to eat pav bhaji and a few Google searches landed me here. The place was just about 5 mins from the highway and had a lane next to it where I could park my car. Coming to the food , I ordered two pav bhajis and a plate of masala pav. The taste of which was pretty good , however it maybe subjective from person to person because it was on the spicy side. If spicy is your way to go then do give this place a shot. The place is hygienic considering it's a small shop for the large amount of crowd that it attracts. It also means you will have to end up waiting for a while if you're unlucky. I ended having to wait for a while for someone to come take the order even after getting a table. However after that my orders were served very quickly. For the price the food is amazing and I'd definitely...
