Well I wouldn't even given them one star if that were in as an option. I had visited the place to get a gift for my sister. I had few things in mind. Having not much knowledge about most of the beauty products, the lady out there just nodded to whatever I said, giving no regards to the kinda help I needed. Service out there is pretty playful, it's like a fun party for them paying no attention to the need of the customers. They keep on chasing each other in the outlet a.k.a. their work place. Nobody asked me for whom it was, what was I looking for, what skin complexion I needed or what exactly I should take for a specific skin complexion/tone etc etc. On the payment counter, only when I told them it was a gift and I wanted them to pack it up wrap it up, they offered to do the needful. The lady at the counter asked me about removing the price tag to which I said yes since it was a gift, "Nothing was mentioned about the fact that it wouldn't be exchanged if the price tag had been removed". She herself scratched the price tag pretty brutally, When asked about the exchange, we were informed that it could be done within 15 days provided the bill has been preserved and nothing was mentioned about the price tags or any tags for that matter. When we tried returning it the female and the manager itself very nearly denied about the fact that they did not tell us about the price tags. Argued all the while and did not return/exchange the product. Here's an advice for the people of Sephora, how about keeping a board in huge letters letting us know that it won't be exchanged if the price tag has been removed. The problem is you guys are so busy with your own selves being a happy family chasing each other on the second floor of palladium that you probably did not find time to help us with the product or for that matter do's and dont's! I am definitely not happy with the service....
Read moreThe customer service is beyond terrible at Sephora, Palladium. You enter and people will start breathing down your neck, following you around, demanding to try products you don't wanna buy, literally not allowing you to THINK. I made the mistake of asking for a tinted moisturizer and the lady literally showed me one, before I asked anything else, put it in a basket and gave it to me. They are GREEDY, it is nonsensical customer service. The experience was ruined by ALL the employees there, it looks and feels so toxic its UNREAL. Do not recommend visiting this store, buy your stuff online (even if it takes research to find your shade etc) there are vultures in this store.
BTW I bought a foundation and because of the nature of their customer service I did not get the chance to ask questions such as PRICE. They stuck me with a 3400 rs product when there was a mini version for 1500 available. Trust me when I say this, they didn't even give me a moment to think let ALONE ask any questions about the product. If I actually liked the product, I would have gone back right there to buy the regular version, but guess what, now that I know my shade I will be ordering online.
If this is Sephora's tactic for the Indian market, please pay your employees BETTER, pay them fairly, train them to look at customers as PEOPLE and not OBJECTS to extract money from for commissions. Paying them fairly might actually enable them to do their job well, and bring...
Read moreToday I visited your store at Phoenix Palladium Mumbai at around 4pm where one of your employees attended me. I wanted to buy makeup and other accessories and while she was applying it to me, I was asking her questions about the make up and the company. Firstly she was absolutely rude, not at all explaining anything, getting angry. She showed me wrong shades and wasn’t interested at all. Then when I asked why are you giving me old products, she told me they don’t expire for 3 years whereas on box it was clearly written will be expired in a year. I were almost going to bill the products even after receiving such pathetic services, but she again started shouting and behaving very rudely took the products and went off. So I didn’t buy the products. She told me shes missing two events for showing us the item products, firstly we never asked for such a rude person to show us around and secondly is this how a Sephora employee behaves?
The worst part was when we talked with the manager she refused to help me out and didn’t even give the name of the employee. After asking her colleague I got to know the name was Ms. Afiya.
I am totally disappointed and don’t think so would want to return to this store and let my friends and families know about this pathetic experience so even they stop coming to your store as well spread information about the misbehaviour of your employee and the manager.
I ended up buying the products from Bobbi Brown at...
