Sujata Mastani — Restaurant in Pune

The shop is scheduled to open at 12:15pm why not 11am?? There were two boys, not cleanly dressed. One was wiping the floor till 12:45pm! I asked him all should be ready by 12:15pm

He totally ignored and reluctantly told his buddy "अरे, यांना दे रे काय पाहिजे" The other boy slowly came. He was rearranging stuff that was left perhaps earlier in the evening. No good seating arrangement or waiting area.

Overall it was a total casual tone, dryness in speech, unwillingness to serve. Somehow I escaped at 1pm with a total delay of 45 min

Just because you have a big brand doesn't mean a careless and indifferent attitude. I thought the poor boys either underpaid or Sujata mastani couldn't get clean, polite people who have a good attitude and pleasure to serve rather than working with horrendous attitude.

I hope Sujata Mastani takes note and employs disciplined professionals who start their work on time. Cleaning before 3-4 customers already waiting on the wet unsafe floor left on me a very bad impression.

Surely I will think 10 times before going to the Paud road outlet...

I had heard a lot about Puneri Mastani and how it is famous worldwide, so when I visited Pune, I had to try it. I decided to visit Sujata Mastani outlet near Karve Putla, Karve Nagar, Kothrud. The place was quite crowded, with many travelers enjoying their Mastani when I visited.

I ordered the Mango Mastani since it was the end of mango season, and I really wanted to try it. Oh my god, I can still remember the taste! It was super creamy and rich, but without an overpowering milk or cream smell, which I really liked. The texture was smooth and absolutely delightful.

They have more than 25+ Mastani options in different flavors. They also serve flavored milk (shakes) and ice creams. The staff here is welcoming and polite, and my order was served within 15 minutes.

If you are in Pune, you must visit Sujata Mastani for an authentic Mastani experience. I am sure you won’t regret it!

The name is a already brand in Pune... I have been to several outlets of the same brand.. but sadly this one at More Vidyalaya is having the least pleasant ambience.. Cleanliness is also a little below par.. however the taste of Mastani as always is wonderful and a serious treat to tastebuds... Crowd's favourite flavour here is Mango and Keshar Mango.. but rose and gulkand flavours are also really good.. only icecreams are also available.. Prices are reasonable no change from other outlets.. Parking is a problem here.. the location is right in front of pedestrian subway and hence no space to park your vehicles.. forget cars even...
