Well Balewadi has got the latest addition in their nightlife culture ever since ‘Hippie@Heart’ recently opened its door in the neighbourhood of Baner. After running successfully at Bhandarkar Road, they finally decided to bring the same magic here in Balewadi. As the name suggests, this place does offer those hippy vibes yet their chic edge and funky interiors make it stand out among rest of the places. And did I tell you that it has got one of the swankiest Bar and also a dedicated dessert counter. Now who wouldn’t like to have both. I was awestruck by their ambiance as it’s a perfect example of class yet with a millennialistic touch.

I have recently tried this place and had an amazing time here. They serve a variety of continental, Italian, Asian and Indian food. So basically everything for everyone. Starting my experience with their cocktail, I have tried one of their signature ones named ‘Bahama Mama’ which had base of White and dark rum. Layers of rum mixed with coconut, pineapple juice, orange juice and grenadine. It had a light yellowish orange color and had a mild taste of coconut and rum which I liked it.

Coming on to their food, I have tried their ‘Chicken Popcorn’ which were really crispy and juicy. Golden fried chicken popcorns tasted even better with mayonnaise so something you should definitely try specially to level up your chakhna game. The another one was ‘Corn Cheese Fritters’ which were one of the best cheese corn balls I have had in long time. Those babies straight away popped with cheese in my mouth and tasted delicious. The cheese was so good. Would definitely recommend this one. Their ‘Falafel Platter’ was good too which consisted of Pita Bread and crispy falafel. Also the hummus served with them was really fresh and had a good taste. Last but not the least was their ‘Tiramisu’ which was so good. Undoubtedly one of the best tiramisu in town. Rich, creamy and had that strong taste of coffee and that mascarpone cheese made it really good. It was a slice of heaven and truly the star of night of my visit. I really don’t mind to visit this place sometime just for Tiramisu and ofcourse their food and drinks too.

Well, to sum up my experience everything went perfect for me. Their service was on top notch and they surely know how to attend their customer. It was a Friday night so music pumped the entire place. Overall, a perfect place to chill.

I visited Hippie @ Heart with my friends on a weekend night, hoping to have a good time. The place has a very good atmosphere, with colourful and cheerful decor, live music, and a seaside view. The place is also spacious and has ample seating area. However, I was disappointed by the food and service quality.

The food was not good at all. We ordered some finger food, sandwiches, and fries, but none of them were tasty or fresh. The finger food was oily and bland, the pizza was soggy and cold, and the pasta was overcooked and dry. The portions were also small and not worth the price.
