Mamta Paratha House — Restaurant in Pune

The food here is really good, but I can only say that for their stuffed parathas. The budget offerings like paratha combos aren't their strong suite.

The stuffed parathas have a good amount of filling and I can confidently say that it is one of the best in this locality. Good balance between quantity and quality. Stuffed parathas come with a little bit of curd, green chutney and mixed pickle. These stuffed parathas are my main reason for visiting this place often.

The budget paratha combos which are usually under 100 rupees - are kind of bad. I've tried their paneer and paratha combo and their paneer curry was totally lifeless. It's gravy feels like water with some spices mixed and the paneer although properly cooked doesn't go well with that lifeless gravy I mentioned earlier. I can't speak for the rajma and other combos but this one was pretty meh. I wouldn't buy it again.

Speaking of the service, it's always packed with people and placing your order can take some time. Once an order is placed it's pretty fast. The atmosphere is not really great, it's okay at best. The tables and chairs are wobbly and they are smaller (good luck getting seated if you are a plus sized person). Smaller benches would have been better in my opinion. Most of the time the tables are occupied by one person sitting at the edge, blocking 2 more people who can be seated. To be honest seating is not why you should come here... It's the stuffed parathas and they are pretty good.

Hello Everyone, I got to know about Mamta Paratha House from my brother who was an old customer of theirs. I certainly can tell it is one of the best Punjabi restaurants in that area at this Price. The prices were very reasonable compared to the quality and taste of the food.

Ambiance:- Ambiance is not as good, as it is a very affordable restaurant.

Service:- Service was good and waiters were very attentive.

Mamta paratha is very good shop/restaurant which provides a delicious food. It is famous because of its student crowd. The best food item your can here is the Mamta special thali or get the panner corn tawa sabzi which is too much in quantity with the amazing taste. Price is very reasonable and taste of any menu item is awesome.
