The only temple of ISKCON in Delhi NCR where there is a diety of Lord Krishna and Balaram. How can this beautiful deity darshan can be missed of two beautiful brothers. Lord Krishna is seen standing with one of his hands kept on the shoulder Of Lord Baldev and trust me it looks very soothing to the eyes and loving to the heart. It reminds of Krishna Balaram diety of Vrindavan. Centre is ofcourse Lord Jagannath with his brother and sisters and to the right is extremely beautiful diety of Radha Krishna. Just at the look of the diety one can feel ecstatic love for Radha Krishna. Truly amazing dieties and shringar and a must see in Delhi. Some other things to note are #Parking is available on the main road but i found that not more than 30 odd cars can fit at a time. #after entering to the left is Gift shop, to the right is a way to Govinda Restaurant and temple office and washrooms at the end #like all ISKCON the timing fir darshan and kirtan and puja is same. Morning darshan starts with Mangla Arti at 4.30 am and last darshan at night, sharp at 9 pm. Then Lord goes for the sleep. #The best part is the dieties are visible from outside too as they have put a glass door so that everyone can have darshan. #The temple is located in the posh area of West Punjabi bagh. The Holy Mahamatra and the vibe of Krishna love is felt in every breath you take here. Just...
┬а┬а┬аRead moreTotal bad experience. Nothing about god krishna but about the temple management and staff. Bought some food for my kids from foodie shop inside temple which first charged almost 2-3 times about market rates of foodies. Then the staff who was very rude including a lady guard, misbehaved asking not to eat in the premises. My question is that if eating is not allowed inside temple premises, why yhey have opened a food shop inside a temple (just to make huge profits from the dieties visiting the temple) which the staff didnt have any answer but they simply insisted to eat outside the premises. One side they are doing business of sellimg food items ( at twice the actual market peice) inside the temple but eating those items right in front of shop is not allowed. What a hyppocracy!! And if you raise questions, the staff and guards misbehaves.
I earlier thought that iscon people were the only one who have not mingled religion with business, but today what happened i regret i was wrong. what can i say more.. may lord krishna bless the...
