Khajaguda Hills is truly a hidden gem in Hyderabad! Located just a short drive from the city, it offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Whether you're a trekking enthusiast, a photography lover, or someone who simply wants to soak in nature, this place has it all.
The views from the hills are absolutely breathtaking. I went early in the morning to catch the sunrise, and it was magical— the sun casting a golden hue over the vast landscape was a sight to behold. If you're a photographer, this place will leave you inspired with its unique rock formations and panoramic vistas. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot a peacock or two, which adds to the charm of the surroundings.
The trek itself is fun and engaging, with rocky terrains and boulders that make the experience all the more thrilling. Whether you're a beginner or someone more experienced, the trails here offer something for everyone. It's also a great spot for rock climbing!
While the area has become a bit more commercialized in recent years, it still offers a serene environment for those looking to escape the city's chaos. My only recommendation would be to visit early to avoid crowds and enjoy the peace.
Overall, Khajaguda Hills is a must-visit destination for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. It’s an adventure, a photographer's paradise, and a perfect spot for a peaceful retreat, all wrapped into one!
Highly recommend it for your next...
Read moreI went here for a trek with a trekking company and it went well and later on went along with friends ( boys & girls ) around 7pm to get city view. Some people were allowed (or maybe they just went when no one was watching) to go further to reach the view points whereas some were not allowed. Two guys ( not sure if they were security ) were asking some folks to leave so we started to leave and they started approaching us. Then we asked them if we could go to the viewpoint or how we could reach there since it was night. They questioned us back asking if we were there to go to the viewpoint or to do something else and gave us awful looks (scanning top to bottom) . Obviously this was disturbing to hear since there were families, guys & couples around as well who were walking around. We just wanted to ask them instead of directly going and this is how they have replied. I understand some might go to the view point for different reasons but this behaviour is not at all good. It was a really bitter experience. I was pretty upset and told them this isn't a good way to respond since there were others going to the viewpoint as well. There was another man who was a bit okay and asked us to leave politely. This was a disappointing experience. Anyway, if you are a girl/ boy and going there with friends or a partner I suggest you be careful. Also, the place is full of broken glass so be extra careful in the night and please wear...
