Tara Kitchen opened in my area a few months ago and introduced a unique concept that's the first of its kind here. Unlike traditional closed restaurants, the kitchen occupies more space and is almost transparent to everyone. The food is delicious, and the limited menu keeps it simple for customers.
A must-try is the Set Dosa—the combination of chutney and dosa is one of the best dishes I've ever had. My daughters love the food, and whenever we dine out, their top choice is always Tara Kitchen. The menu, though minimal, offers a good variety of breakfast items like Idly, Wada, Dosa, and Poori, available from 6:30 AM to 3 PM. After a two-hour break, they serve evening snacks like Masala Wada and a sweet treat. For dinner, the menu includes lighter options like Idly, Wada, Poori, Dosa, and even some Chinese dishes. My favorites are the Roti and Dal, and Fried Rice with Dal. The restaurant is consistently busy, reflecting the quality of the food and the appealing menu.
In addition to great food, the owners ensure a pleasant ambiance. Dharma Reddy, in particular, takes responsibility for managing customer parking difficulties, easing parking problems for visitors, and ensuring the crowd does not inconvenience the locals. Cleanliness is well-maintained — the dining area, and kitchen (visible from the counter) are kept tidy and hygienic, which adds to the overall pleasant experience.

Despite the crowd, the staff remains friendly and attentive.Orders are taken efficiently, and food arrives reasonably fast, although it can slow down when the place is packed.

Pro: Was able to find Car parking nearby The Shop is on the main road, so high visibility. clean surrounding.
Con: 1.a lot of stalls/booth for each different item. eg: if you wanna eat a dosa, idle, coffee and some curd rice, you will constantly be running inbetween stalls to take the items. a long line for taking /placing order as you need to take token lack of Serving Staff, compared to the number of order they receive, therefore alot of chaos need the stalls. if you want extra chutney or sambar, then you need to run inbetween stall, as the items are not placed systematically. Due to Glass barrier inbetween serving staff and customers, you need to speak very loudly to hear/understand, otherwise you will miss...
