Muttukadu boat house is a water sport facility on the East Coast Road at Muttukadu, Chennai City, Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, India, offering rowing, wind surfing, water skiing, and speedboat riding. It is a backwater area of the Bay of Bengal located 36 km (22 mi) from the city centre and 23 km (14 mi) from Adyar on the way to Mamallapuram. Read moreMuttukadu Bridge is one of those places that quietly stands out for its view and vibe. The moment you drive over it, you can’t help but notice the calm backwaters on both sides — especially around sunrise or sunset. The breeze, the light reflections on the water, and the sight of boats passing by make it a peaceful stretch that’s worth slowing down for.

While the bridge area is generally clean, it would be even better if visitors avoided throwing garbage around. A bit of responsibility from everyone could make this spot even more enjoyable.
If you’re driving along ECR, Muttukadu Bridge is one of those quick but memorable stops that reminds you how scenic this...
