Hello, friends! Today I want to share with you my amazing experience of visiting the Hanuman Setu Mandir near Lucknow University. This is one of the most beautiful and sacred temples in the city, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the monkey god and devotee of Lord Rama.

The temple is located on the banks of the Gomti river, and it is connected by a bridge called the Hanuman Setu, which means the bridge of Hanuman. The bridge was built in 1967 by the then chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Chandra Bhanu Gupta. It is said that the bridge was constructed on the same spot where Lord Hanuman crossed the river to reach Lanka and rescue Sita from Ravana.

The temple complex is spread over a large area and has many shrines and statues of various Hindu deities. The main attraction is the idol of Lord Hanuman, which is about 8 feet tall and made of red stone. The idol is facing south, which is considered auspicious for Hanuman worshippers. The idol is also adorned with a gold crown and a silver mace. The devotees offer flowers, fruits, sweets and vermilion to the idol and seek blessings from the lord.

The temple also has a special feature called the Sankat Mochan Darbar, which means the court of the trouble remover. This is a hall where people can write their problems on a piece of paper and drop it in a box. The temple priests then read these papers and pray to Lord Hanuman to solve their problems. Many people have claimed that their problems have been solved by this method.

The temple is open from 5 am to 11 pm every day, and it attracts thousands of visitors every day. The best time to visit the temple is on Tuesdays and Saturdays, which are considered auspicious for Lord Hanuman. The temple also celebrates many festivals throughout the year, such as Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanti, Dussehra and Diwali. During these festivals, the temple is decorated with lights and flowers, and special rituals and ceremonies are performed.

The Hanuman Setu Mandir near Lucknow University is a must-visit place for anyone who wants to experience the spiritual and cultural richness of Lucknow. It is a place where you can feel the presence of Lord Hanuman and his divine grace. It is a place where you can find peace and happiness...

Hanuman Setu in Lucknow is one of the city's most revered spiritual landmarks, attracting devotees and visitors alike with its deep religious significance and serene atmosphere. Located near the banks of the Gomti River, this temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman is a sanctuary of peace amidst the bustling city.

The temple's architecture is modest yet impactful, with a large idol of Lord Hanuman as the central figure, exuding an aura of strength and devotion. The idol is beautifully adorned with flowers and other offerings, reflecting the devotion of the people who come here to seek blessings. The temple is especially crowded on Tuesdays and Saturdays, considered auspicious days for Hanuman worship, but even then, the sense of peace and reverence remains intact.

One of the most striking aspects of Hanuman Setu is its location. The temple is perched on a small bridge-like structure, or "setu," offering a unique vantage point over the flowing river. This setting adds to the temple's tranquil ambiance, making it a perfect spot for meditation and reflection. The view of the river, combined with the chanting of mantras and the ringing of temple bells, creates a spiritual experience that is both grounding and uplifting.

The temple is well-maintained, with clean premises and an orderly arrangement for darshan (viewing of the deity). The priests and staff are courteous and guide visitors through the rituals with warmth and respect, making the experience accessible even for those who might be unfamiliar with Hindu traditions.

Hanuman Setu is not just a place of worship; it is a symbol of the city’s deep-rooted faith and cultural heritage. The temple also serves as a gathering point during festivals like Hanuman Jayanti, when the atmosphere becomes even more charged with devotion and celebration.

In summary, Hanuman Setu is a must-visit for anyone in Lucknow, whether for spiritual reasons or simply to experience the city's rich cultural tapestry. The temple offers a peaceful retreat where you can connect with your inner self and experience the divine presence in a truly...

I really love this place. Whenever I go to Lucknow, I visit this temple. I go to this temple by Metro train from charbagh to Viswavidyalay metro station and walk around 800 metre to reach this temple. This temple is so sacred. You can feel the presence of God here. There are three Prasad shops and two Phoolmala sellers beside this temple. When you reach this temple you have to wash your feet ,hand, mouth and sprinkle some water on your head to purify yourself. Now enter the temple and go down through the stair below, buy Prasad (laddu or meetha boondi) made of pure ghee from the shop. On returning buy phoolmala from the vendor ( Rs 20, 30 or Rs 50). Go to the temple up through the stair and Ring the temple bell. Do parikrama of Lord Hanuman 3 times. Now be in queue to offer Phoolmala and prasad to lord Hanuman. When your turn comes give the Prasad and phoolmaala to pujari ji. Pujari ji will offer Phoolmala to Hanumanji first. Now Watch Hanumanji wearing your Phoolmala and praise him by saying- 'Hanumanji, you look so good'. Now pujari ji will offer Prasad to Hanumanji. Now You say to Hanumanji in your heart- "hey Hanumanji I am offering you this prasad, please accept it". Pujari ji will return the prasad to you. Take it and move back. Don't show your back, walk in opposite. After that you may bow your head to Hanuman ji. And move to next hall to offer your prayers to other Gods. After that you may take Hanuman Chalisha book, sundarkaand book etc from the hall and read. There is a separate palce for reading these sacred books, where you can sit on a mat and read the books. After reading keep the books in the same palce. Your prayers is done. You may go to your work/office/ home. That's all. Hope I explained well. Thank you

Jai Shree Ram Ji, Jai Shree Hanuman ji. This temple is open all days, even on Sunday. Both morning...

If you are looking for a peaceful and holy place, the Hanuman Setu Temple, also called Kainchi Dham, is a must-visit in Lucknow. It is near the calm waters of the Gomti River and is special not just for prayers but also for its beauty and history. When I went to the temple, I was amazed by its old and beautiful design. The carvings on the walls are very detailed and show the art of ancient times. The place feels quiet and full of devotion, making it perfect for prayer and peace. Inside, there is a statue of Lord Hanuman decorated with flowers and incense. Many people were praying sincerely, and the peaceful vibe touched everyone, even those who are not very religious. There is also a story about Neem Karoli Baba, a famous saint who meditated here. The temple was built in his honor. Some people believe that tying a knot at Kainchi can make their wishes come true, which is an interesting tradition to see. The temple is next to the Gomti River, making it even more beautiful. The calm surroundings are great for sitting quietly, meditating, or enjoying some peaceful time. The temple is very clean and has signboards to tell visitors about its history and importance. The staff helps visitors feel comfortable. I got to see the evening 'aarti,' a prayer ceremony with chants and lights. It was very beautiful and made me feel calm and happy. I left the temple feeling peaceful and refreshed. The Hanuman Setu Temple is not just for prayers but also for anyone looking for peace. Its location by the Gomti River, its interesting history, and the peaceful atmosphere make it a special place in Lucknow. Whether you want to pray or just relax, this temple is a wonderful place to visit.

!! Om Sri Ram Dutay Hanumatey Namah !! This is a place of worship which holds the supreme place hence I am no one to review this place still I am writing this review for the benefit of devotees who wants to know more about this place through google . This is one of the prime and old temple of Sri ram dut Hanuman in the city of nawabs Lucknow . The temple is sitituated very close to Lucknow university campus and parivartan chauk on starting point of the bridge on river Gomti . This is one of the few temples established by baba Neem karauri (who is himself considered as the avatar of Loard Hanuman ) during his life time . There is a very famous tale behind the existence of this temple on the beginning of the bridge . The temple complex is huge and maintained very well . One can feel extreme peace the minute you enter the temple premises . The premises is big and very clean. Loard hanuman Pratima is visible from the main road itself and people who are in a hurry or do not have sufficient time to visit the premises can pray and do the Darshana from the outside itself .
