Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is situated in the heart of the busy Chowk area, yet once you step inside, you instantly feel detached from the hustle and bustle outside.

The temple is believed to be centuries old and has deep spiritual significance for devotees. The Shivling here is considered very powerful, and during Shravan month and on Maha Shivratri, the temple is beautifully decorated and thousands of devotees come for darshan. Despite the rush, the atmosphere remains disciplined and devotional. The chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and the ringing of bells add to the divine aura.

The best part of Koneshwar Mahadev Temple is the positive energy one feels inside the premises. The priests are humble, and pooja is done with proper rituals. Morning and evening aarti is truly mesmerizing and worth attending.

This is a huge temple in the heart of Lucknow, serving as a religious and spiritual center, especially for the devotees of Lord Shiva. During my visit I found this temple to be really clean and well-managed. Even though it was not too crowded, this temple has got the capability to handle bigger crowds too, due to its spacious interiors. Apart from the main Shiva Temple, there are other small temples too within the temple's complex.
