⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Trekking Experience with Trek The Himalayas (TTH)!

I recently completed the Dayara Bugyal Trek (Feb 15-20, 2025) with Trek The Himalayas (TTH), and it was an experience of a lifetime! Our trek started from Natin village, and we were a group of 8, with 7 of us being first-timers. The most experienced among us was Sagar Sir from Hyderabad, a 73-year-old legend whose presence was an inspiration. It was an honor to trek alongside him!

Exceptional Leadership & Safety

From the very beginning, our team leads, Pankaj Sir and Bunny Sir, ensured we were well-prepared with a clear briefing on the challenges ahead. Their dedication, guidance, and safety measures made us feel completely secure throughout the journey. One leader always stayed ahead, while the other ensured no one was left behind—true leadership! Beyond being our guides, they became our brothers, singing with us, playing antakshari, and even leading fun warm-up activities before and after our treks.

Breathtaking Views & Unexpected Snowfall!

Dayara Bugyal was pure magic—the vast meadows, the towering peaks of the Gangotri range, and the vibrant red rhododendrons in bloom created a surreal experience. We even witnessed snowfall on our return to Dehradun, which felt like a blessing! We danced in joy, celebrating the perfect ending to an already incredible journey.

Food Beyond Expectations!

Now, let’s talk about food—because, trust me, it deserves a special mention! Huge shoutout to our head chef, Amardev Rawat, and his team for serving us fresh, hot, and delicious meals at such high altitudes. As a sweet lover, I was beyond happy that every meal came with a dessert—gajar ka halwa, payesh, gulab jamun, sewai, jalebi, custard, and even cake!

And the main dishes? Simply unbelievable! Chole Bhature, mixed rice, mushroom dishes, eggs, idli, upma, oats, Maggi, momos, samosas, evening soups, and crispy pakoras—all served hot and fresh. It was amazing how they managed to cook such delicious food in a moving kitchen at high altitudes. Amardev Ji, you and your team are legends!

Why I Recommend TTH to Everyone

Trek The Himalayas goes beyond just trekking. They prioritize our health and safety by conducting daily health checkups (oxygen levels, blood pressure, etc.), ensuring we stay hydrated, and even providing medicines if needed. Their discipline in maintaining timing and trek rules was commendable.

This trek was more than just an adventure—it was a journey filled with friendship, laughter, challenges, and memories that will last a lifetime. I wholeheartedly recommend TTH to everyone, whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned trekker. They don’t just take you on a trek; they create an experience you will never forget.

A big THANK YOU to Pankaj Sir, Bunny Sir, Amardev Ji, and the entire TTH team for making our first trek so memorable. Can’t wait for my next...

Trek The Himalayas is a liar and deceitful company. We booked our Hampta pass trek from 16th June 2025 to celebrate my birthday. We applied for one week leave as well from office, but it became such a horrible nightmare. I have done trekking through multiple companies in the past, but TTH is the worst in all aspects. I will try to cover few points here:

Unplanned and no back up: it is being claimed that they are second best, but even after charging double amount, they did not have any back up tent etc. I.e earlier batch wanted to rerun back from summit instead of going to chhatru, so they cancelled our trek, because earlier batch was staying in the tent. Our whole holiday was spoiled. Initially we had to trek 8 km on second day, but they discontinued our trek after 6 km while going to Balu ka ghera, so we had to come back to Manali, which made it total 15km (6km up & down from Chika and 3km from Chika to Jobra) on day 2..it was so tiring, and we did not planned and trained for this stretch, and did not book mule, so it was such a life threatened to do such distance with huge luggage on our shoulders. The logic given to us was, tents are wet and nobody would go to Balu ka Ghera, but upon return, we saw at least 200 people were going up, their companies were allowing and taking them. We later came to know the actual reason of earlier batch. Even they had to do this, they knew it in advance, at least they should not have made us walk so much with big luggage. There was no refund, and they want to re-do this trip with them to utilise our money. How can they expect that we would go through such horrible experience again.

Trek Leader: they were so disinterested in trekking that they were not guiding, talking, yawning all the time and did not try to make bonding activities. They seemed inexperienced as well I.e. we had to cross a river, and a lot of trek was pending after that, even then they suggested to cross the river with shoes. Shoes of everyone got wet and we had to go on trek with wet shoes in cold weather with fear of hypothermia. They were not stopping for helping the batch at critical places. Leaders’ name were Jeevan and Pradeep.

Tent quality: it was very poor, water was leaking from tent and whole sleeping bag was wet, have to slept in wet bag only. Asking upon alternate tent, they said that everyone is facing same problem.

Food: It was so pathetic and very limited, if you are even 5 min late, they would say food is over. 2-3 people were hungry at each meal.

They spoiled our holiday mood and made our health worse by changing the plan last minute and making us walk a lot. I would never suggest anyone to go with them. They should also have daring to post these negative reviews on their website so that people are...

This hampta pass was my 4th Trek. Previous three treks I had done with the other organisation. Now I want to share my experience with the trek in the Himalayas. The Organisation had done an excellent job in terms of the trek leader Mr Pawan sir the other Mr Aman sir and the other guides plus the kitchen staff and the quality of the tent everything was very good. When I booked this trek with Trek the Himalayas I was not sure what the facilities and the trek would be but from the bottom of my heart I would like to say that the quality and amount of the facilities and everything were very good the kitchen staff were excellent the food quality was very good I would like to thank Pawan sir ,Aman sir and other guides who were with us named Sahil and Vijay and others and special mention for kitchen staff. There are also some areas for improvement trek the Himalayas can do

  1. The campsite site particularly in the Chatru and in Balu ka Ghera could have been better place as it was mixed up with lots of other camp organisations. In comparison with the Indiahikes which I had done the previous treks their Campsite location was better if I compare particularly for this trek as I had observed their campsite location also
  2. There is also a need for improvement particularly at the campsite in Chatru and Balu ka Ghera where there is a lot of plastic trash was there around the campsite and nearby areas. If you are promoting Heal Himala how can I expect that the campsite itself from the trek in the Himalayas is with the plastic trash around.
  3. there were two groups A and B and there are 24 members in each group so total there were 48 members particularly for this trek and amount of the toilets where available was either 3 or 4. how can you expect a trekker which had to leave early on the next day with 48 members and only four toilets how everyone can finish there daily routine and start the trek. In the previous organisation, IndiaHikes there was never a time when two groups were going simultaneously. Please please Stop giving frooti or other mango pouch, biscuits packets, and munch chocolate for on the trail food to eat as they are also major part of trash on the trail and create lots of plastic trash and most of the trekker are not bothered to keep with them and dispose properly. They throw anywhere on the trail. Around 40% of plastic waste i had collected was from these packets you had given to trekkers. You can give 2 apples or bananas or any other biodegradable eatable. Give trek certificate online after completion of trek and make it online available for download after login.

Still overall experience was very good and I would like to do other treks with trek the Himalayas but there are also areas...

A Truly Unforgettable Har Ki Dun Experience with Trek The Himalayas I recently completed the Har Ki Dun trek with Trek The Himalayas, and I can confidently say it was one of the most enriching and beautiful experiences of my life. Right from the moment we began our journey, everything was so well-organized and thoughtfully executed, making us feel secure, cared for, and truly connected to nature. A huge shoutout and heartfelt thanks to our trek leaders Yeshav, Divy, Ameen — they were simply the best. Their professionalism, knowledge of the terrain, and calm leadership were matched only by their warmth and kindness. They constantly checked our oxygen levels, ensured we were well-hydrated, and were always attentive to each trekker’s condition and comfort. You could really see how much they cared about each person in the group. Mukesh, one of the team members, was also a true gem. Always ready to lend a helping hand, encourage when things got tough, and offer support without being asked — he made a big difference in my journey. The food throughout the trek was incredible — hot, tasty, and prepared with so much love and care, even in such remote conditions. Sitting down to a warm meal after hours of trekking felt like such a luxury! A little more variety in fruits abd hot water early mornings and perhaps the option of unlimited portions would have made it perfect, but that’s just a small note in an otherwise flawless experience. The campsites were well maintained, the tents clean and cozy, and the sense of bonding around the camping , shared stories, and laughter created a special sense of community that I will always cherish. It felt like more than just a trek — it felt like a journey shared with family. I also truly appreciated the team’s commitment to keeping the Himalayas clean. They ensured all waste was managed responsibly, and encouraged us to be mindful and respectful of nature — something that really stood out and aligned beautifully with the spirit of trekking. Overall, I can’t thank the TTH team enough — especially Yeshav , Divy, Ameen and Mukesh — for making this trek so special. Their dedication, energy, and compassion turned this into a life-affirming adventure that I will always carry with me. I’m already looking forward to my next trek with Trek The Himalayas!

I recently completed the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek from October 4th to 13th, 2025, with Trek The Himalayas (TTH), and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel and trekking experiences I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, TTH managed everything exceptionally well — right from the pre-trek coordination to on-ground logistics. The itinerary was well-planned, ensuring the right balance between challenge and comfort. Every detail, from the stay arrangements to the food quality and acclimatization schedule, was thoughtfully handled. Our trek leaders — Rajat Tomar, Chiring, and Shubh Tamang — were outstanding. They were not only experienced and knowledgeable about the route but also incredibly supportive and patient with every participant. Rajat’s leadership and calm attitude kept the team motivated throughout. Chiring’s expertise and local insights added so much to the experience, while Shubh’s energy and constant encouragement made each day more enjoyable. What truly stood out was how well the trek was organized and executed. The communication was clear, safety measures were properly followed, and every situation was handled with professionalism. Even during long trekking days or unpredictable weather, the leaders ensured everyone was comfortable and motivated. The lodges and food exceeded expectations, especially considering the remote terrain. The team ensured we were well-fed, hydrated, and ready for each day’s trek. Small touches like morning briefings, oxygen checks, and shared laughs during tea breaks made the experience even more special. Reaching Annapurna Base Camp at sunrise was an unforgettable moment — the view of the mighty Annapurna range glowing golden is something I’ll cherish forever. It felt like every step of the journey led perfectly to that moment. Overall, I highly recommend Trek The Himalayas for anyone considering the ABC trek or any other Himalayan expedition. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and incredible trek leaders made this journey not just a trek but a memorable adventure filled with learning, camaraderie, and awe-inspiring beauty. A huge thank you to TTH, Rajat, Chiring, and Shubh for making this trek such a smooth and memorable experience. I would definitely love to trek with this team again!
