One of the oldest temples in the city with the architecture still intact in stone. The temple complex hosts temples of Sri Kothanda Ramar& Seethai, Andal, Ranganayaki, Hanuman etc. Temple is spacious and ones needs to take a long walk to complete a pradakshina. Forced to write this with regard to my personal experience of visiting on a tamizh puthandu, the service is extremely slow and there is no care for devotees, almost for more than an hour elderly people were made to wait with no reason and then all were hurried during the darsan. Devotees couldnt even offer flowers and tulsi maala to god as there was some ritual going on. There were no prasadam available (not even for sale).
