My #3 preferred waterfall among the 5 waterfalls along this Munduk trail. It looks like the tallest waterfall among the 5.
As we came from Labuhan Kebo waterfall, the ticketing counter was before we entered the waterfall. This route is easier as it is a descend to the waterfall. The lady at the counter was nice. She provided us directions on how to reach the main road. She drew a map to provide clear directions. I’ve attached the map here. Did a slight modification based on what I saw.
For those entering from the main road, they visit the waterfall before seeing the ticket counter. It is a tougher route as they need to climb up many tall steps. We witnessed tourists refusing to pay the Rp20k upon reaching the ticketing counter as they have already seen the waterfall since they came from the main road 😞. These locals helped to keep the place clean and in good condition by removing rubbish left by tourists, removing fallen trees/branches, etc. Rp20k isn’t too...
Read moreIt's a nice view. Water was falling in a pretty much waterfally character - underneath the upper point where water started to fall there was water below, as expected.
Would recommend visiting this place if you're into some water falling experience. What's best about this spot is the ability to watch the physical phenomena where gravity pulls the water down the cliff and it starts to fall.
However, the duration of this show is quite short, as it takes only about 5 seconds for the water to fall down. It's not really a problem though, as there's more water coming right behind the one that already fell down (this could get a litle repetitive for some people). Stayed for 5 hours and the water kept comming, so the waterfall will probably run out of water soon. Therefore you should come visit ASAP if you want to experience this vertical movement.
If you don't like places where water is falling down, then this place is...
Read moreGreat waterfall, there wasn’t anyone at the waterfall when we visited. We started our hike from the lower end of the hike, the trail was not marked well for this waterfall. There was a fork in the trail where you can see the waterfall from the top and on your left, we had to turn left and continue going down even though it looks like you’re walking away from the waterfall. You need a local to point out the next right turn bcz it’s easy to miss, lucky for us, there was a couple who were right there. If you go this route, you don’t pay the entrance fee of 20,000 but if you are planning to continue the hike from the waterfall where you take the stairs up, you’ll have to pass the ticket booth and then you’ll pay for the falls that you were at. Hope this...
