Puri Alam Bali Bungalows — Hotel in Pulau Bali

The views from Puri Alam are fantastic (I think that goes for all accommodation with a clear view in Munduk) and are better the higher you go, though even though the infinity pool is on the bottom level it's still a beautiful sight.||||The location is good, it's probably just on the edge of the main road but as Munduk is so small it takes just a couple of minutes to walk down the road anywhere. We found a great place to eat just 30 seconds away, and the Eco Café is probably 2 or 3 minutes.||||The facilities are OK - they're just a little run down in places. One of the walls in our room had damp and the walls of the pool look a little green (though the pool is still nice to chill in/by and I don't think anywhere else has an infinity pool with that view). The bed was fine and so was the shower.||||There's no wifi in the rooms (possibly there is if you're in a higher one near the restaurant area) and in fact we struggled with any signal as we were down by the pool. The wifi is strongest in the restaurant.||||We didn't have breakfast at all but did go to the restaurant once. There's stunning views and the prices are comparable to the other gurungs and homestays in Munduk.||||The staff are able to organise taxi day trips to the sights around, taxis on to your next stop, and provide a map and route to the nearby waterfalls and other walks. Be aware that for the waterfall walk you must pay 10,000 Rupiah (about 60p) at each waterfall which goes to the village whose land it is on. We weren't informed of this so didn't know if it was a scam or not at first, but it is genuine.||||The accommodation is more expensive than many others in Munduk but at the price you get the infinity pool so it depends on our budget and what you are...

Siamo arrivati in questo hotel alle 2 del mattino, direttamente dall'aeroporto dopo 24 ore in viaggio e 2 ore di macchina in strade di montagna tipo gimcana da denpasar.|Arrivati lì ad attenderci non c'era nessuno. Tutti i telefoni staccati. Dopo 10 interminabili minuti arriva un consierge (svegliato dall'autista fortunatamente molto smart) che ci accompagna nella nostra stanza. La stanza era diversi minuti di gradinata più sotto, quindi se avete mobilità ridotta o anche solo soffrite di vertigini ve lo sconsiglio caldamente. Allego foto di parte delle scale.|Arrivati in camera la temperatura era sui 18 gradi. Munduk si trova su delle collinr a circa 800/900 metri dal mare. Il pavimento è di ceramica e il tetto bello arieggiato per cui quando è freddo si gela.|La doccia è gigante ma il sostegno era rotto per cui dovevi reggerla con una mano.|In alto una sola finestra con zanzariera senza vetro, quindi in bagno era se possibile ancora più in freddo che in camera!|A fare da divisorio tra camera e bagno una parete in cartongesso su cui hanno messo due lavabi, pieni di formiche.|Troppo stanchi per protestare siamo andati infreddoliti a dormire.|Se vi danno fastidio i rumori della campagna (cani e galli non grilli, ben inteso) non è il posto che fa per voi.|L'indomani avevamo un pick up alle 7.30 del mattino per il trekking sulle cascate e fare la doccia era impossibile..in più l'acqua calda era guasta e non avevano l'asciugacapelli..abbiamo cercato un telefono interno per chiamare la reception (il minimo sindacale quando 3 rampe di ripidissime scale ti separano dalla meta) e non c'era. Arriviamo alla reception per la colazione e ci dicono che l'asciugacapelli non è che mancasse in camera..proprio non esiste! |Acconsentono a darci una colazione da portare via. Ottima e ben impacchettata.|Nel pomeriggio si sono scusati per l'inconveniente per l'acqua calda e ci siamo goduti il sole a bordo piscina. Fantastico. Piscina però altresì ghiacciata.|La vista è spettacolare.|Inoltre il personale è cortese e disponibile.|Hanno acconsentito a farci anche la colazione al sacco (un magnifico nasi goreng) anche il giorno della notra partenza.|Il wifi funziona solo sulla terrazza panoramica, alla "reception" e nella terrazza delle colazioni. Nella nostra stanza non prendeva.|Se contate che eravamo senza sim locali, con il wifi che prendeva solo da metà scalinata e siamo stati presi nel sonno dal terremoto potete comprendere la paura per l'assenza di un fisso in camera.|Al di là di tutto questo Munduk vale la visita, nonostante le chiazze di umidità suo tendaggi del letto a baldacchino e le formiche il pavimento e il bagno erano tirati a lucido.|Non so se consigliarlo o meno per via di mancanza di termini di paragone, ma senza dubbio dovete essere atletici e con spirito di adattamento ben radicato per frequentare questo hotel. We stayed here during Pandemic. It is part of small effort to keep the life move. I guess i was the only guest in this place. It is a family owned business. The view form this place was amazing. the Valley and the montain from our balcony was breathtaking. The room has all the basic requirement mainly the mosquito net and consistent Hot water. This hotel situated in the middle of clove plantation, we can expect mosquito in the rooms and else where, and the net helps a lot to sleep.||We pay reasonably cheap price during this pandemic on this place but it still provide basic this we need including reasonably good balinese breakfast.||We visit waterfall nearby, and we have the whole place for the two of us (since no other guest visiting...
