Warung Heaven Munduk — Restaurant in Bali

Talent & Kindness can be everywhere this is pretty much what Wary g Heaven Munduk is. Made and his wife are wonderful. We had dinner there with our 2 daughters.

The service was excellent, always a nice word from the welcoming to farewells. The after dinner when Made or his wife take some minutes of their time to discuss with customers is much more than appreciated. We had a good family time playing cards (which are on the table) to wait for our meals to be prepared... In front of us.

The food... I just have no words. Everything that we love. Simple. Tasty. And we had a lot from the menu. Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Pork sweet & sour, Banana fritter, Pancakes, Dadar Dulung. All of it was tremendously good. My daughters named it the best chicken satay in Indonesia after 2 weeks in this beautiful country. The only thing is that it will make you regret you did not order more... considering the value for money... You won't regret it too long 😉.

Came to this place for dinner as I was staying in kanaya homestay which is a bit further down the road. His nephew is managing the place and recommended this place for meals.

When I came to the place they informed me that only chicken was available. Apparently there was this party that they're preparing for. All's well and good as I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with extra chicken for protein. Kind of reminded me of the Chinese sweet and sour pork or the korean's tangsuyuk.

I love how accommodating the owner and staff were. It was 90 k for the rice dish and a cup of Bali coffee. Pretty decently price if u ask me. Will visit again for other dishes.

Do note that sitting is limited . And it gets dark around 7 pm. So if you'd like to get an awesome view and a nice seat, I'd recommend reaching around...

We had delicious food in this restaurant. Made Kerry and his wife are great hosts and cooks. Made Kerry also provides a tour for me and my family. We can only but highly recommend this. We had really great fun with him and also the driver. He took us on this perfectly arranged tour, where we got to see places that were not overtaken by tourists yet. We had a beautiful walk, saw a temple, went canoeing, saw a waterfall and went to a hotspring. His English is really good, so he is able to share interesting information and history about each location. After the tour he also prepared a special local dinner for us. Thank you Made Kerry, we will never forget this...
