(Paragliding Bali) Riug Paragliding — Attraction in Kuta Selatan

Booked online ($73.24 sgd for 1 pax for tandem paragliding) on 3rd Jun for international guest inclusive of insurance, Photo or Video from Go Pro with memory card 8GB and certificate achievement.

What scared me was when my friend and I arrived there on a motorbike, they told us 3 words we didn't like to hear: "today no wind". Considering the paragliding site is a 40 mins drive from Seminyak (+ the roads leading up to it is quite rocky), in hindsight, I would recommend NOT booking online in advance, especially if you're on a short trip/tight itinerary. The t and cs mentioned on the email is that "voucher is valid for the above date only" but the staff told me I could claim it anytime till Dec 2022. Luckily, I was in Bali for 10 days and managed to find another day to swing by. If you're doing a 4D3N, you may not be so lucky! Always remember to call/whatsapp them regarding the wind condition of the day so as to avoid a wasted trip.

First time ever doing anything like this ... and absolutely loved it! Felt totally safe and secure with the crew and the pilot and the flight was just the most awesome exhilarating experience I've had. We were staying at the Asmara Villas and the pilot flew by and in close so my daughter could film us from the terrace. The pilot offered to do an "exciting manoeuvre" which did not disappoint :). The pilot also pointed out landmarks and points of interest, as well as large fish in the ocean below. My flight lasted a few minutes more than the routine 15 mins and with the HD quality video from the GoPro which was emailed to me later in the evening (yes the guys were still working late), all in all it was fantastic value for money and overall an amazing experience. Super fun with an experienced team! There wasn’t much wind on the day, so we had to wait a little while before flying. But once we got going, it was smooth flying! The team made sure flyers were safe and secure. Pilot was friendly and knowledgeable. Amazing views off the cliffs and over the sea! All recorded on a GoPro that they downloaded for us on our phones after flying. Next to the landing site, there is a hotel with a viewing terrace perfect for a drink to watch the paragliders sailing by. A lot depends on the wind. Be patient. The experience is worth it! Initially they could only take flyers under a certain weight until the wind picked up. One of us couldn’t fly, so they refunded us for one flight without any problems. Fantastic experience,...
