Review of Bejana Restaurant, Bali
During my recent visit to Bali, dining at Bejana Restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, one that I heartily recommend. Specializing in authentic Indonesian cuisine, Bejana impressed with its comprehensive menu, particularly its dedicated vegetarian options which were a delightful surprise and showcased a thoughtful inclusion for dietary preferences.
The service here stood out remarkably; the staff were not just attentive but added a personal touch that enhanced our dining experience. Each dish we tried was a burst of flavors, evidence of skilled preparation and knowledge of traditional spices and techniques. The standout for me was the coconut-based soup that kicked off our meal — a perfect start that set a high bar for the courses that followed.
Although Bejana falls on the pricier side, the quality of food and the overall dining experience justify the expense. We loved it so much that we returned for a second night, something we seldom do. This restaurant is especially convenient and a must-visit for guests staying at the Ritz-Carlton, offering a culinary journey through Indonesia without having to leave the comfort of the hotel.
In conclusion, if you’re looking to splurge on a meal that offers both traditional flavor and modern dining comfort, Bejana is the place to go. Whether you're a vegetarian or just someone in love with rich, well-crafted flavors, you won’t be disappointed.
The second night as they got to know it was our last night in Bali they put together a cute fruit plate with a message, so thoughtful and sweet! The attention to detail...
Read moreWe had four adults and three children for a dinner. Must have been a special night because there was a Balinese Buffet on offer. We were lucky enough to be allocated a VIP dining room for our group which was a bonus. Staff were great, special mention to Adib who welcomed us with such warmness - it was a great way to start the evening. The night also had a Balinese dance show with two dancers which made the night even more special and a nice way to introduce diners with Balinese culture. Food was a large selection of Balinese and Indonesian cuisine. Never been to a Balinese themed buffet before so there was ample opportunity to try something new. The decoration around the food had amazing detail (flowers strategically placed, varying serving plates/baskets and each item had food name tag). Décor, artwork around the restaurant matched well with the comfortable chairs and private cubicles. Place had a impressive Balinese/Indonesian kids menu. Another special mention to Marlin who really looked after us (dragon sambal and even dishes you can't get from the menu). Thank you for a special night Marlin. I think for a place where you want to experience Balinese cuisine, Bejana is the place to go. Our two families had...
Read moreOne of the best Authentic Indonesian Restaurant in Bali. Wide variety of food and beverage selection. Excellent Food, Outstanding Service, Awesome Outdoor View. If it's not rainy, outdoor seating will be lovely especially when it is a breezy day.
This is my second time returning to this restaurant. Warm welcome by the team, personalized service. I felt at home with their great hospitality. Never regretted for coming back again. Food quality remains as good. Service remains as superb as before. I find the pricing inexpensive compared to dining at such level of establishment in other cities.
I would like to specially commend on these two staffs. Omey Adib Thank you for making my day. It was a great pleasure to be served by both of you. Thank you so much for taking great care of me especially when I'm dining alone. I didn't feel bored as Adib was really humorous, entertaining and very friendly. Greatly appreciated that Omey has the impression of my past visit to the restaurant and being attentive, exceptionally nice to me throughout my presence on the second visit. You made my revisit absolutely worthy!
All the best to everyone in Bejana and thank you once again! I'll be...
