Balangan beach and cliffs are located in the Ungasan Village area, Jimbaran Village, South Kuta District, Bali. With several facilities on the beach, such as a large parking area, toilets, spots for pre-wedding, long chairs with umbrellas, cafes and restaurants, and lodging. To go to Balangan Beach, you can use a private vehicle or rent it as well as by bus, but if you use a bus, you cannot go directly to the beach, because the road to get there is quite small and the roads are still chalky because it can only be used by motorcycles and cars and cannot be traversed by buses. Just like some beaches in Bali in general, the operational hours of Balangan Beach are open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. On Balangan Beach, we can enjoy the beauty of the beach and the view from the cliffs of Balangan Beach, we can see people doing pre-wedding activities, surfing, swimming, and so on. We can also drink coconut ice, which is sold around Balangan Beach if you go there during the day. Read moreWe visited Balangan Beach during the late morning/early afternoon when the tide was quite low. We were greeted with a scenic view, giving us fantastic photo opportunities. The water was very clear, making it appear quite blue in the deeper parts. However, the sand was quite coarse and stepping in it made our feet sink, making it rather difficult to walk. Since the tide was out, a large stretch of the beach was just a rocky floor, making the (barefoot) walk out into the water painful. Aside from that, the rest of the time we spent there was enjoyable. There were a number of surfers out catching some waves, which looked perfect for surfing. We had food and drinks at a little café overlooking the beach, which was reasonably priced and quite tasty.
