Balangan beach and cliffs are located in the Ungasan Village area, Jimbaran Village, South Kuta District, Bali. With several facilities on the beach, such as a large parking area, toilets, spots for pre-wedding, long chairs with umbrellas, cafes and restaurants, and lodging. To go to Balangan Beach, you can use a private vehicle or rent it as well as by bus, but if you use a bus, you cannot go directly to the beach, because the road to get there is quite small and the roads are still chalky because it can only be used by motorcycles and cars and cannot be traversed by buses. Just like some beaches in Bali in general, the operational hours of Balangan Beach are open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. On Balangan Beach, we can enjoy the beauty of the beach and the view from the cliffs of Balangan Beach, we can see people doing pre-wedding activities, surfing, swimming, and so on. We can also drink coconut ice, which is sold around Balangan Beach if you go there during the day. Here, like most beaches in general, we can do water tourism activities such as swimming and playing in the water, surfing, fishing, dining in cafes, and sunbathing. The ticket price for entering Balangan Beach is IDR 5,000 for motorbikes and IDR...

Balangan Beach, located on the Bukit Peninsula of Bali, Indonesia, doesn't have an extensive documented history. However, like many areas in Bali, it likely has cultural significance to the local communities, possibly with ties to fishing or spiritual practices. Over time, it has become known for its stunning scenery, attracting tourists seeking beautiful landscapes and surfing enthusiasts drawn to its consistent waves. While there may not be a detailed historical account, its natural beauty and popularity have likely contributed to its place in Bali's tourism industry.

Balangan Beach is characterized by its breathtaking natural beauty, with golden sands, crystal-clear waters, and towering cliffs framing the coastline. It's renowned among surfers for its consistent waves, making it a popular destination for both beginners and experienced surfers alike. The beach maintains a laid-back atmosphere, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Bali's more crowded areas. Additionally, its relatively secluded location adds to its charm, attracting visitors seeking a quieter and more serene beach experience. Overall, Balangan Beach is known for its stunning scenery, excellent surfing conditions, and...

We visited Balangan Beach during the late morning/early afternoon when the tide was quite low. We were greeted with a scenic view, giving us fantastic photo opportunities. The water was very clear, making it appear quite blue in the deeper parts. However, the sand was quite coarse and stepping in it made our feet sink, making it rather difficult to walk. Since the tide was out, a large stretch of the beach was just a rocky floor, making the (barefoot) walk out into the water painful. Aside from that, the rest of the time we spent there was enjoyable. There were a number of surfers out catching some waves, which looked perfect for surfing. We had food and drinks at a little café overlooking the beach, which was reasonably priced and quite tasty. We left in the middle of the afternoon, but the sun was on track to set right on the horizon, which I assume would have made a...

I highly recommend this beach. When entering you, take some time to walk up the deserted path where the rocks are to get a good view of the beach from the top of the cliff. You can get some amazing pictures there. Then walk down the steps to the beach. You’ll find several eating places which serves food at pretty reasonable prices. For those who like to surf, you’d get good waves there too. Otherwise, you can just chill there and watch people surf. The beach doesn’t get insanely crowded so that’s good. One thing to note, it would be difficult to get out of that area because Blue Bird, the only trusty taxi companies aren’t allowed to pick up passengers from there. I stayed at the hotel beside once and the staff claimed to not know what the cab number is, which is absurd. When the cab came, they were rushing us because he said that cabs aren’t allowed there.
