I have made this review here instead of the Jumeira listing, as most of the reviews are fake/bought, just to pick up their star rating.

Should be called "Jumeira Bali- We do apologies you may not ...."

The hotel is anything but Luxury, there are many other properties in Bali within the same price range that are truly Luxury. It is a pretty property, but that is the only thing it has but thats not why people come to luxury properties.

We came here for sunset drinks, dinner and mostly to see the property to book our next stay.

I had made a booking online for 5pm and requested a table on the edge in front of the cliff. Right when we arrived and opened the door, a lady asked if we would like to sit inside(very rudely), we mentioned we had booked a table outside(which they should know), all the tables were empty with only 1 lady on 1 of the edge tables. We were informed right away "We do apologies you may not sit outside on the corner table before 6pm" "The lady is sitting there as she wants to DRAW" We said okay well sit right outside in the lounge area, which is 10 meters from the edge tables. We asked could we walk and have a look at the pool? She said "We do apologies no outside guest are allowed to even go to the pool area" - Which is connected to the lounge. We sat down ordered our drinks. I wanted to see the beach and asked if I could go down for a bit. He told us "We do apologies you MAY GO DOWN TO THE BEACH BUT WE WONT ALLOW YOU BACK IN". (They do NOT have a private beach, its public) We had our drinks and told them to let us know when we can move to the front table. We noticed a couple walk in and go straight to the empty front tables. I asked them well its 5:40pm now and their sitting there, can we move now? We were finally were allowed to, not informed but had to ask since they allowed others.

By this time we were so taken aback with the whole service and approach, we decided to go to Raffles for dinner. If we wanted rules and be told we can't do anything we would go to a Beachclub, not a supposed Luxury hotel. We've stayed at St Regis which actually has a private beach, this property does not. We've stayed at Ritz Mandapa, where literally no request is ever said no to, they just say ofcourse Mam, let us arrange that.

They clearly allow outside guests to their restaurants as they need the bookings but do not treat guests very well. Why allow outside guest if your not going to be welcoming? Then close it off, thats totally okay. If this is what their like in general, I'm sure there are "you cant do this/that" to in-house guests as well.

Looking for Luxury, this is not the place, quite disappointed, I really wanted to...

We were deciding on a place to eat last minute. We were rushing to decide where as we were both hungry and we also wanted to go somewhere we could see the sunset. We looked on google maps and chose Segaran as it was nearby and on the coast. We hadn't really looked much beyond some photos on google maps. We were pleasantly very surprised to discover it was in a fancy resort. We rocked up on our scooter and security signed us in and must have radioed through to the staff in the lobby to advise we were coming as they welcomed us by name when we drove up. The staff in the lobby advised they have valet parking and took our bike keys and helmet. I was a little embarrassed and so glad we just happened to wear something nice that evening. We were then driven through the stunning resort to the restaurant. The resort has incredibly beautiful gardens and what look to be high end villas. We were seated outside at the edge of the garden with stunning sunset views. We were given welcome Jamu drinks and delicious bread which were like a cross between Naan bread and Poppadums and dips that were like tastes of different curries.

We started with Calamari, main of whole fish and Leg of Duck with vegetables and finished with a chocolate and a lime dessert with Tea.

The meal, service and scenery was fantastic! Highly recommend! 1 appetisers, 2 mains, 2 desserts, Tea and a cocktail all...

A huge highlight was the Segaran Restaurant We enjoyed breakfast there daily, and the buffet was incredibly extensive and delicious, offering everything we could possibly want to start the day perfectly. Dinner at Segaran was equally impressive; the meals were unique, beautifully presented, and exceptionally tasty. It became our favorite culinary spot on the property. However, the standout stars were two incredible staff members who went above and beyond:

Ayu at Segaran Restaurant:Ayu deserves special recognition! Her warmth and genuine kindness shone through immediately. She wasn't just efficient; she was incredibly engaging and had a wonderful, infectious smile that brightened our mornings. Understanding we had children, she proactively introduced us to the children's menu options and offered helpful suggestions. Her attentiveness and lovely personality made our dining experiences at Segaran truly special. Ari, our Villa Assistant (Butler):Ari was an absolute gem. Her service was impeccable throughout, but one gesture truly touched us. She kindly offered to take photos of our family during a lovely moment in the villa. Not only was it thoughtful of her to suggest it, but she took fantastic pictures – we absolutely love them! It was such a personal and appreciated touch that captured...

Delightful Experience at Jumeirah Hotel's Segaran Restaurant Rating: ★★★★★ I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Segaran restaurant at Jumeirah Hotel, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. One of the standout features of my visit was their tiramisu dessert - an absolute must-try. With its subtle sweetness, it provides an indulgent but balanced finish to your meal. Moreover, the setting of the restaurant deserves commendation. Perfectly situated for some much-needed respite on a hot day, it offers a spectacular view that complements the outstanding food. Its idyllic location also makes it the ideal spot to appreciate the breathtaking sunset during the evening. I highly recommend the afternoon coffee here. There's something incredibly soothing about sipping a well-brewed cup as you gaze at the stunning vistas. The ambiance, coupled with the excellent culinary offerings, makes Segaran a place you would want to revisit. I, for one, am looking forward to my next visit. If you haven't been here yet, make sure you add it to your list. You won't regret it!
