Bella Bali — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I stayed at Bella Bali in a guestroom upstairs (there are only 2!) for 2 nights in early August and wish I'd been able to stay longer! The room was simple but beautiful, comfy bed, spectacular view! The bathroom was simple, functional, clean Bali style, no hot water, which didnt worry me at all in the warm Bali weather. The deck is INCREDIBLE, and could have lived in the net hammock right in front of the shifting tides on Balangan beach. The staff are so kind and helpful and also very respectful of their guests privacy, and I felt very much at home. I was travelling solo, and felt comfortable, safe and considered. The food downstairs was great, nasi goreng and fruit for breakfast and a cold coconut or bintang at sunset right in front of beach was nothing less than stunning. I cant wait to...

Having not visited Bali for almost a decade, I am shocked to see the crass over development of the Bukit peninsula.

However, there remains some old world, rustic charm about Bangalan (despite the hordes of surfers) and the jewel in the crown is Bella Bali where we stayed for three nights.

Perfect rooftop terrace and a simple but lovely room.

Very peaceful at night as you are lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean.

Highly recommended but please don't tell too many people and let's retain the charm, at least in this...

Looking for a quiet beach with a sea view and luckily found this place on AirBnB. They have only 2 rooms and I was the only one staying there. Unexpectedly, it wasn't only the sea view, it had direct access to the beach. It's a small beach for surfers with Cafes and warung along the beach. Most of the owners left at night, so you can have the beach for yourself. Please note, in this area sometimes you have problems with the internet. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
