Mazu Beach Club Bali

It would be the best place in Balangan to spend the day because it is the only one with a pool by the sea. However, the food and service are very bad. The waiters are friendly but poorly trained. They always stay in the covered bar area and you have to make an effort to call them. They are not able to remove empty bottles, glasses and plates from the tables unless you ask them to. I have been going here for a few months only because of the convenience of having a pool, shower and bathroom. The place is poorly maintained, the pool tiles are very dirty and the lounge chairs at the bottom of the pool are broken. The manager has a complete lack of concern for how to take care of the place, offer good service and ensure the quality of the food, in addition to being grumpy and never interacting with customers to get feedback and try to improve. To make matters worse, they have terrible taste in music. The DJ on Sunday afternoons plays music that is more like a nightclub than a sunset vibe. Today we were kicked out because the music was too bad and loud, clashing with the mood of what should have been a beautiful evening. The waiters' lack of attention is a sign of poor management of the place. It's a shame because it had everything it needed to be amazing, but it's not. Always empty, even on a sunny weekend during high season. I've been in Bali for five months and this is the only place I've been to where the food is bad. Change the DJ, the chef and the manager, and train the staff, please!
