The Point Balangan Beach — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

The Point Balangan, Deluxe room 1, the ocean view from a common balcony is superb, it’s why you’re here, the crashing waves, clean air and peace.

It’s a surf area, Warungs a plenty geared up for the surf crew. A neat beach club nearby, just a walk through a building site or a very short walk on the beach is quality and no impact on sleeping. Jimmys Brother Warung close by is a lovely family owned Warung serving lovely Indonesian food plus the Western regulars. Jimmys Café underneath the accommodation is quality but quite small serves. As mentioned in a previous review, the kitchen directly under room 1 does have music going from 8am until 8.30pm, but it’s workable for a good sleep.

The accommodation is kept clean and tidy, a small room really but comfortable and the style fits the amdience. The pool is very clean with towel provided.

Quite pricey for what the accommodation provides, but it is worth it to be this close to the water and the chilled vibe.

UPDATE: you cannot trust Agoda reviews or Agoda as a booking platform. I gave the same review on Agoda, but guess what, the hotel averages 8/10 stars, nothing bad is ever on there, my review is not publish. The hotel is not talking to me, but is telling Agoda that i was 'no-show' despite me paying up at the counter on check-in. Agoda is now asking me to provide proof that I was at the hotel.

Original Review Bad hotel. Bed bugs in room, had to leave after one night even though paid for three. I was bitten so badly. Service staff friendly but management is the worst. Does not reply Agoda chat and does not reply emails. Refuses to communicate on infestation issue.

Beach is super awesome, but if you’re coming in with luggage, you have to trek trough a broken path about 50m down a hill and then walk through sand on the beach to get to hotel. Reverse this trek when going out every time. The pathway in on google streetview is now severely...

This place is the best hotel on this beach, fabulous rooms and a pool just in case u get tired of the beach. Really great service, the staff are very helpful the owner Jimmi will do anything to make sure your stay is a pleasant one, he's a man of his word. The food is the best along the beach also. The first floor balcony is a real cool place to just chill and watch the sunset. If you're coming to this beach, this is the one I would recommend by far as its not always easy to get good service. The hotel is a little difficult to find even for some taxi drivers as it is new, so just mention one of the more famous/ older hotels in the area. If u see a dark and bumpy road leading down to the beach you're on the right track... don't be scared, walk down as the car wont be able to get there, it opens up at the bottom. On the one hand its a pain, on the other its a lot less crowded and you can have the beach...
