This was not a good experience. The customer is not important here. We witnessed one of the staff beating a dog in front of guests, and throwing the rubbish from their own property next door. This happened two days in a row, so the second day I videoed it. When we asked about this, and the fires full of plastic in the same property over the fence - they blamed the community. In fact, they are putting the rubbish there themselves. Our room filled with plastic smoke from the fires through the air con, and the bonfire in the main entrance covered the property in thick smoke. The fumigation was carried out at 5pm during the busiest time for guests around the pool. it seemed they had very little awareness of their customers. the location and pool was fine, and thankfully the lack of customer service was made slightly better by one young man training, Suriya. he was attentive and helpful. We provided this feedback directly to reception ("we will pass on your feedback" was the response), and have emailed the resort management company Bali-Resort.com, with no response. These rooms (we booked the suite) were expensive, and terrible value for money. The ‘minibar’ is just an empty fridge, despite being described in the room manual as full of refreshments. We asked about this and were told it was as meant to be. Therefore is falsely advertised. The coffee in room is Nescafé, when there is plenty of decent coffee around locally. The attention to detail here was seriously lacking and not...
Read moreWe managed to find this beautiful brand new resort after having a bad experience with an Airbnb host on the Island. The hotel Manager was just preparing for opening but came to our rescue and allowed us to stay here. We were the first people to stay in the hotel rooms, we hired both types of rooms and both types were stunning, modern, and spacious. It’s a nice size hotel, didn’t count but maybe 15 or so rooms, two decent sized swimming pools in lovely manicured gardens and a lovely open restaurant. The resort is right on the beach with great coral for snorkelling. We saw a few boats doing snorkelling trips in the sea in front of the hotel, so a few of our group went in with their snorkels to see what the coral was like. Lots of colourful fish so you have a great area to snorkel right on your door step. There are restaurants about 15-20 minute walk away. The hotel found us a driver for the day and a couple of us went off to Diamond Beach. Kelingking Beach is also a must if you are visiting Nusa Penida. We had a bad start on this Island but Astawa came to our rescue and we ended up having a fabulous time here, just wish it could have been longer. If I holiday to Bali again, I will definitely be going back to Nusa Penida and The Sankara Beach Resort. Highly...

We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days in their Ocean Suite Villa. I must tell that as soon as you enter their property, you feel like heaven on earth. The stunning view of clear blue ocean is just in front of you. The Pool is just a step in front of your villa. Coconut trees alongside makes it a perfect evening with sun setting from behind.
Breakfast menu is too good and sorted without wastage. They have a set menu in their breakfast which they personally take order beforehand and get you freshly made right on your table(in their restaurant dining area which is right in front of the beach)
Staff - Now this is something I would like to say is "Commendable Hospitality" Right from their receptionist - Miss Wulan who is so warm and polite, to the Bartender - Mr. Kadol and Udik who always make sure you get the perfect drink, followed by their All in one staff - Surya who takes care of the Garden, Bar etc. They all make sure your stay is very comfortable and you enjoy the late evenings too with some music and dance.
I will surely recommend this resort to everyone who wants a Luxury and comfortable stay at...
