Nick’s Place Nusa Penida — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

Went to the same restaurant in Nusa Lembongan and it was ok . But in Nusa penida the quality is much lower They have really friendly staff that make you feel very welcome food was ok , eatable I asked for an orange juice with carrots and specifically asked the waitress(that was lovely and had a really good English)that I didn’t want water in my juice i wanted a Natural orange juice that’s what I was paying for But my juice came tasting like nothing , it was bad ,super watery So I went to see the girl who made it and asked her to please don’t put water in my juice , she grabbed one single orange to make my glass of juice Like seriously? Restaurant owners should be ashamed of themselves for trying to profit 100x in a cup of juice They charge in one glass what they pay in a kg of oranges plus we pay extra 16% in taxes on top of that I am not complaining about the price of it but for not getting what I am paying for . That’s ridiculous and make me never want to come back to places like that . It’s a disrespect and I will be giving reviews to make sure they improve their quality and give people what they are...

Went to Nick's last night for dinner and got the hush puppies, shrimp mac and cheese, lobster and grilled fish. Also got a few cocktails. The food was terrible, from start to finish, as were the drinks. The food took almost an hour to come out, even though we were the only table there. All of the seafood was very overcooked. Everything was either flavourless, or had poorly matched flavours, like the grilled fish served on mashed potatos with a steak sauce. The drinks were all poorly balanced, with the pina colada being mostly froth and little liquid.

The music was also bizzare, starting with old timey folk before moving on to the staffs personal choices of Indonesian tap and what sounded like advertisements for movies.

This place is AMAZING! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Spectacular beachside views, and the food was PHENOMENAL! Relaxed atmosphere too which was so nice! We had maybe 6 meals here over a week in Nusa Penida and every meal was exceptional! The Mahi and Barramundi were especially superb! My 5 year old daughter was running around and FULL of energy, and the beautiful Javanese girl Annisa looked after her, played games and took her for a walk on the beach, and was pulled around everywhere, and was so patient with my girl! It was very VERY appreciated! The lovely people also allowed our kids to play pool with them, and gave them tips on how to play, and were so beautiful and kind to them. beautiful experience for the whole family.
