The whole place is not maintained anymore, full of grafitis on the walls, lot of trashes and plastic around. Cannot even go to the top or even inside the lower building. Lost place. (05/2025) A completely abandoned and rundown place with a great view of the city. It’s a real shame, as the spot definitely has potential. It’s a 10-minute walk up slippery stone steps – be careful. The viewing tower isn’t locked, and you can climb it at your own risk. We visited at 4:30 PM and the light was perfect for photography.

From afar, you can see the Cross on the hill from Rantepao City. However taking a closer look, this place could have been better maintaned. There are very minimal guard rails, It will be very unsafe for senior citizen to visit.

The viewing tower isn’t locked, and you can climb it at your own risk. We visited at 4:30 PM and the light was perfect for photography.

It looks.nice from below near Elim church. At night, sometimes the lightings turned off. I have come to the entrance once a year ago. It looked so dirty.
