Macau Sporting Club — Attraction in Cork

Over from London for a few days so popped in . Some of the staff are so ignorant its hard to believe . Fumbling cards out of the deck,choosing the wrong order ! Twisting when i was sticking . I left blackjack table after this happened at least half a dozen times in 30-40 minutes. Sat at the roulette table and wanted to split a 100 euro chip. Failed to acknowledge me and spun the wheel(whilst looking at me) Then said "next time sorry" .Then did the same again !! Then said "sorry its a busy table" . Decided to leave the club and on route to cashing out asked a guy for the manager as i was so appalled at the level of service . He was manager so said he would take a look at the video . He came back 5 mins later and said i never put my chip down. I said but he knew i was waiting . Apparently all my fault . I asked to watch the video so he could see me gesturing and the obvious conversations . He refused. A tin pot operation with incapable and rude staff . Except for the bar staff and door man . I will be reporting this to the Irish gambling authorities as this should not happen when money is involved . (missed cards,fumbling etc etc) Just like the rest of the service .Pathetic. Just thinking they must have to keep the videos for a certain amount of time . Lets see what the authorities make of the...

Guy in charge of the roulette live tables isnt very nice. Was there the other night and put 26 on 20 and it hit but the girl gave me back 25 chip and left 1 euro chip on the number and said the word 25. i didnt understand what she meant so i was about to ask and the ball was spinning and the 20 hit and I was told that I was told but it was confeusing. after a while i waited in confeusion and asked the table in charge guy and he was just rude and said he couldnt do anything yet what they should have done was paid 25 on the number and said well give you back the 1 euro chip as you could only bet 26 which i found out after. staff were rude and id avoid the place if you want...

There is an elderly guy tends the main entrance door who’s for some reason is doing more harm to the public reputation of the club than doing customer service. I saw him yelling racial remarks to one of my former colleagues who does visit the place sometimes only for dinning and this was for no apparent reason as I have listened to the whole conversation and have it recorded that guy should be fired or at the very least enquired by management.
