Our party of three stayed one night as part of our 2 day tour with Paddywagon. Our tour guide introduced us to Charlie and we were able to drop off our overnight bags at lunchtime when our tour stopped in Cork for lunch. The rooms were, of course, not ready, so Charlie told us to just leave our bags in the foyer by the front door. When we returned at the end of the day, our bags were still just sitting in the foyer floor, which we thought was a little odd. But, there is no elevator, so I guess the host did not want to carry our bags up the 3 and 4 flights of stairs. The location is great for the Paddywagon tours as the bus pickup is just down the hill on the same street. And, it is an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and pubs (we greatly enjoyed meals at The River Club and Gallagher's and the live music at Sin'E). Our two rooms were homey, with comfortable beds and nice linens. The rooms were spacious, though the bathrooms were tiny. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The host provided a hair dryer and electric converter upon request. The home is older and has that feel...uneven floors, creaky stairs, etc. There is no individual heat or air, the host told us the temp is centrally controlled. The top floor room was a bit warm, but cracking the window overnight was sufficient and not too noisy. The third floor room was cold in the afternoon, but had comfortably warmed up for overnight. Unfortunately, a neighbor behind the B&B seemed to be having a party most of the night (on a Thursday) which kept one of us up for a large part of the night. Breakfast was delicious and served very nicely in the breakfast room, made early for us to be able to catch our tour bus, which we greatly...

We location was very close to the city center, which was very convenient.||The breakfast was tasty and the owner had made an early breakfast possible for us which was tasty and nice.||We really enjoyed our...
Read moreComfortable traditional Bed's Breakfast place in Cork. Friendly staff arriving upon your arrival. Rooms are clean and apparently recently renovated. Rooms have carpeted floors. In the beds (extra size) You got good sleep although it was a bit hot (there's no air conditioning). The place is not very well suited for people with reduced mobility, as rooms are moved along a narrow stairway. Breakfast was plentiful and was prepared personally for You (traditional...
