Mayo Leisure Point — Attraction in County Mayo

Absolutely couldn't fault this place at all, wanted to take the kids for a shamrock shake in McDonald's but decided to go to castlebar instead of our usual Sligo as we live in tubbercurry. One of my sons said he recognised where we were because he has been on a school tour and asked could we go to the mayo play centre, so we did. From Ages 4-14yrs all the kids had great fun doing Lazer tag and soft play with some arcade time too. We ended our day off with some food in the restaurant, given it being St Patricks day you could forgive if the food was thrown together to keep up with the crowds but it was some of the best food we have had out (especially the Brooklyn burger 😋 ), the staff were amazing especially the young girls on the food counter. We have found our next child's party venue. 10/10.

Absolute skip. We went for a fun family afternoon it was nothing of the sort. We got change, the first game we went to play air hockey put in the money and no disc came out had to a member of staff who got a disc but used one of out turns to check it was working so the games lasted minutes. Everything else was very old and broken, the car games the wheel was loss and seats kept moving back. The dance game not working. A small kids game with a digger and balls their wasn't enough balls to actually pick up. Tried to go bowling even though all the lanes where not in use their was no availability for o we 2 hours which means more broken items in the place. Ruined a day we will head to Bundoran the next time....

I use the bowling alleys regularly & always find the staff and service excellent. My groups are both small & large and I'm always accommodated. I've come to know certain staff members by name at this stage & find Luke in particular on the floor always has a ready smile and patience when my teenage groups need that extra assistance (English is not their 1st language). The staff serving tea and chips are also always friendly & helpful. Thanks a million for providing a guaranteed good session...
