What a dining experience! From the moment we entered, we were warmly greeted with a smile and unique charm from restaurant owner, Peter. He entertained us all night with exceptional customer service and interesting stories about his time in Ireland.

Not only did Peter make us feel at home, but every member of the Blue Serenade team made our restaurant experience very memorable. The service was second to none!

The quality of the food was amazing - we chose the homemade soup and 5 chicken spice for a starter which we finished within minutes!! Followed by our mains of Chicken Fajitas and Duck Leg with Plum Sauce and mashed potatoes/vegetables. The decor was wonderful and very cosy with some music in the background that fitted the overall vibe. Thank you to Peter and his team for making our final night in Castlebar an amazing one. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for visitors or people close to Castlebar!

I hardly ever review things, but I had such a great and unique experience, I felt like I had to.

We stopped here just for a quick bite, as we were running quite a bit late on our trip and wanted food before it was too late.

Peter greeted us immediately with such a friendly demeanor and made sure we got situated at a table. The food was fantastic, however Peter and his son Alex are the reason I'm leaving a review. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, funny, and shared so much with us. Never have I felt such a personal touch from a restaurant - it felt like we have been friends for years. Peter and Alex shared all kinds of local recommendations, experiences, and told us all about where Peter grew up.

Okay. Where do I begin!? Amazing is good way to start it off. From the moment I walked in the door to the minute I left welcomed is an understatement. The staff are friendly, professional and bring a new meaning to family dinning. I was treated like star, had brilliant conversations with any and all servers that approached. Taken care of, no matter what it was. The food was delicious. (Recommend any fish dish!). The size of the meals are more for sharing but that's not a complaint.
