Celebrating Christmas day we joined Ukrainian community. Fabulous and peaceful ceremony also young people performing Jesus were born play. Really appreciated for help collected by Ukrainian's for Ukrainian army forces. Would advise to joine more people for such events and not only.

A must-see if you enjoy the ancient architecture. Quiet, beautiful and located on the way downtown. Admission is free and you can light a candle to the Virgin for free, I recommend that you leave a tithe. Dedicated on December 7th, 1862.

Amazing church with a wonderful welcoming priesthood of Redemptorist. They celebrate every year the Limerick Novena to their Mother of Perpetual Help with great devotion. People gathers by thousands those days to pray to her.

I love Redemptorists. I usually try to do their Novena every June. We were there to do the Novena to St Gerard on a Wednesday for my son whose wife has finally managed to get pregnant after 4 years. They even had their 1st appointment for IVF made (which I would NOT have liked)so we will go every Wednesday for 9 Wednesday's for this little mite. The Catholic church have all mod cons. They're on the internet and go live with every Mass. They have screens on each side of the huge church so you'll miss no part of the Mass. The sermons are always excellent. True to Redemptorist tradition and will keep you thinking. Toilets are easily available and they have a good shop PACKED with all...

The Redemptorist Church at Mount St. Alphonsus, South Circular Road, Limerick is more than 150 years old. It is open twelve hours every day so it is more accessible than most churches in Ireland and it is well worth a visit and if you do visit you will have plenty of time to view it. I really like...
