Limerick Museum is definitely worth a visit, though it's by no means extensive and its collection of material documenting the history of Limerick is rather limited. Read moreWas very happy to visit, not only was there no cost but there was so much to read about and learn about Limerick, its history, their role in the evolving global economy, and many cool artifacts. I wasn't aware of how big lace was hundreds of years ago, and Limerick's role in it. Also I wasn't aware that Limerick supplied outfits for the Confederate army in America years back, when Limerick had the largest clothing factory at the time.
