Read moreTramore is a beautiful area and keep that in mind because I am ONLY reviewing the amusement area. The rides are fine, theres an alright variety even though most of the rides are for kids which didn't really bother me.
I brought myself and 3 of my kids, ages 14, 9 and 7 which all of them are a bit on the plus side (only slightly, not that they couldnt fit on the rides) and are short for their age. My 14 year old tried to go on the "Freak Out" and there was this (forgive me) black teen in charge of securing the riders.
She went on it and was unsure where to put her bag (I was overloaded with bags from shopping and our car was far away) so she put it by the steps. She said the teenager pointed to the middle and said "come on like" to her when she didnt hear him at first. I was able to hear from off the ride aswell but I didnt think much at first.
After I purchased the €3.50 ticket I put the ticket in her bag which was my fault in all fairness to her but she told me the man started snickering and taking the mick out of her (saying something on the lines of; "I can literally see it in the bag like") for not knowing where it was. I feel bad but thats not how a ride instructor is supposed to act. She brushed it off, but since the seats are high off the ground and shes 5'2 she found it hard getting on the ride.
Her friend who was watching from the sidelines heard him asking if she "wanted a boost" and supposedly, he and a few others started snickering. My daughter decided that she had enough and got off the ride because she was going on on her own anyways and didn't appreciate his behaviour. She laughed it off but Im currently in the car waiting for them and their dad and I am appalled with that behaviour.
The ticket man and every other employee were very nice. The ticket man probably saw what happened and immediately gave her the money back and shot a small smile over at me which I appreciated. Everything else was all right my 14 year old was a bit angry about it and looked a little sad but she knows to brush these things off. I genuinely hope the rider securer gets fired, what a disgusting way to...
Read moreMy autistic child was pushed physically over the fence off the bouncy castle ride as my youngest was refused entry as she was too small. He infact was far from too small at the age of 4 and we had already paid for his entry upon their refusal. A member of staff who got in my and my friends face while we had hold of our kids as her child was also to small and only told upon the time it was to enter. The children queued for 20 minutes prior and were seen in the que. We were told to leave the park after being confronted and security manager getting into my face and irate and damn right rude. After asking us to leave, children screaming we were then told we could stay. My children have been traumatised by the experience and my child with ASD has been put into a bad place. What a horrible place, horrible staff and terrible management. Had to call the guards to deal with it as not one manager was willing to come talk to us. Instead we had a security man stopping us rentering who FYI also didn’t agree with the situation and in-fact told us to use the other entrance. He was the only polite respectful personal we dealt with. Upon messaging them they refused to talk about the CCTV of the staff member pushing my son back over the fence and this has turned into an official report with the Gardai. I’d also like to add they asked us to leave a hour after the incident after we spent a little bit more money there, before throwing my family and my friends family out too. The staff were rude and threatening and we witnessed one of the girls remove another child physically and just chucking him on his feet off the bouncy castle. It’s clearly not the first time this has happened the treatment of the children is disgusting and bear in mind we were asked to leave our kids in the line and weren’t even able to supervise them. I’ve never seen young girls treat children so bad and the fact their manager refuses to take any liability is embarrassing. WILL NEVER EVER EVER RETURN and will be passing on...
