Puolo Beach

Lovely seaside village with gravel beach and restaurants. Getting there is a little tricky when it's busy as there is a steep, windy road leading to the beach. For small cars this is OK but I would advise against big SUVs. Halfway down there is parking under trees and they charge €10 for the whole day. Next to the beach there is another parking lot but that's pricier, not sure how much they charge. I'd guess €15-20 for the day. The beach is free to use but you can rent sunbeds and parasols. On the portion we went that was €10 each for sunbeds and parasols. We had lunch at St. Raphaels and a Pizza Margharita was €6, a Pizza Prosciutto €7. We paid €60 for 4 mains and 4 drinks incl. 1 beer and incl. Tip. Tasted lovely, so definitely not overpriced. The whole place doesn't seem too touristy and when we got there at around 10am we were one of two families at the small portion of the beach. It started filling up quick afterwards. Parking, two sunbeds, a parasol and lunch for four set us back €100 all in. This information is correct as of August 7th, 2023. All staff was friendly.
