Lido Aqua Beach — Attraction in Bacoli

We checked out several lidos in the area during our vacation and Lido Aqua was by far our family’s absolute favorite. Salvatore, Johnny and the rest of the staff are amazing, took excellent care of us and made us feel so welcome. The beach, water and restaurant were very clean. Our kids (ages 4 and two) had an amazing time here because the water was never too rough and didn’t get too deep until you went farther out and it was a very family-friendly environment. The views are stunning! And lastly, the food was also excellent (compliments to the chef!) and you could get a wide variety of drinks from the bar. Probabilmente non meritano neanche una stella, visto che in periodo di Covid sono cambiate le ns esigenze.....praticamente in questo lido sembra non sia mai esistita l'emergenza Covid: niente distanziamento, niente mascherine, qualche flacone di gel disinfettante giusto per.... per non parlare della poca professionalità nello svolgere il loro lavoro......alla richiesta(mia e di mio marito) di due ombrelloni e due lettini, perché entrambi soffriamo di eritema ed abbiamo bisogno di ombra quasi tutta la giornata, ci hanno risposto che non era assolutamente possibile favorirci visto che l'ombrellone è corredato di due lettini e non uno!!!!!!! Anche se poi i prezzi sono a pezzo singolo: 10 euro l'ombrellone e 10 euro il lettino (una cifra "abbastanza" considerevole). Siamo rimasti perché scioccamente avevamo già pagato il parcheggio (altro furto autorizzato: 5 euro per lo scooter!!!) senza accertarci prima della disponibilità del lido! Morale della favola: siamo stati su un solo lettino all'ombra e poi a mare, visto che avevamo l'ombrellone in 8^ fila😱 ed oggi faceva molto caldo, abbiamo consumato solo due caffè ed una bottiglietta d'acqua, alle 13.00 abbiamo fatto la doccia e siamo andati via senza fermarci per pranzo come siamo soliti fare! E non c'è nulla da fare....non cambiare mai la via vecchia per la nuova! Specialmente in questo periodo così critico, laddove trovi il rispetto delle norme igienico-sanitarie non devi pensarci due volte e fermarti senza andare a scoprire altro!!!!!! The food was great but not only they included 2.50 per person charge but they went ahead and added another 10% fee and overcharged us on some food. We had to request to adjust the price of the food based on the manu and also request the 10% tip waived since we already were getting charged 2.50 per person. Please be aware allover Napoli because they are just schemers with tourist. As of now horrible experience...
