Il nome nasce per il ritrovamento di un rilievo in marmo con raffigurati scene con animali ricondotte al culto della dea della caccia; in realtà si tratta di complesso termale che sfruttava le acque salutari provenienti dell’antico cratere vulcanico.

Cool place to visit as it’s free of charge if you’re in the area. It’s very nice ruins and it’s open to anyone walking by this area. Grasso be seen from the street but I recommend you park and...

È una delle tante strutture d'epoca romana...bellissimo...ma in stato di parziale abbandono...testimone maestoso e silenzioso di un passato davvero importante...che peccato che non riusciamo a valorizzare adeguatamente e come meriterebbero questi resti romani...in compenso ampio e gratuito parcheggio nei pressi. Spesso il tutto è utilizzato...ancora oggi...per spettacoli musicali...concerti ed attività ludiche. Bello...molto bello...ma da manutentare decisamente meglio...imponente ciò che resta dell'antica cupola...credete che tra 2000 anni resterà altrettanto dei nostri...
