🚗 A magical detour between Rome and Florence

Driving from Rome to Florence, we made a spontaneous stop at Civita di Bagnoregio — and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable moments of our trip.

The museum had a lot more information on the problems facing the village and how they were analysing the earthquakes and landslides to work out how best to stabilise the buildings. “Presepe Vivente” Wir waren am 6. Januar 2016 da, das außergewöhnliche Ereignis der Geburt Christi in Civita di Bagnoregio. Am Abend, wenn die Sonne runter geht und die Lebenden Krippe beginnt das alte Dorf bietet eine einzigartige Kulisse, die eine Landschaft ungewöhnlich, reproduziert und in dem die Zeit still zu stehen scheint: eine Fußgängerbrücke 300 Meter lang ist die einzige Art und Weise, das alte Dorf zu erreichen. Das Stadttor war überwacht von zwei Römischen Soldaten, man geht durch und fühlt man sich katapultiert über 2000 Jahre zurück. Al erste treten wir am Tuch Markt vorbei, dann Früchte & Gewürze und die Wärme der vielen Feuerstelle führen die uns in diesem Dorf, eine römische Siedlung, eine Reihe von Beduinen-Camps, die lange Straße der Handwerker und Händler und der Heiligen Drei Könige die aus dem fernen Osten anreisen, gibt die wunderbare Beilage zu der Hütte der Heiligen Familie. der Stadt von Civita für diesem Anlass trägt seine beste Kleidung, selbst abwechselnd Färbung rot, gelb und blau, um einen Sondereffekt sichtbar zu machen, auch aus dem Nachbarort.
