Parco Ducos — Attraction in Brescia

A pleasant place to recharge your batteries in Brescia! Also very good for families with children. The park is relatively clean (you can see it is cleaned regularly, but you can't be cater for every jackass that leaves rubbish on the grass).

Quite large area will give you plenty of space to walk or to play with kids. It is divided by a railroad (you pass underneath) in two zones: one more urbanised and organised, one rather indigenous with a refreshing nature touch to it.

There are numerous benches, trees that provide shade, little lakes with fish and turtles (the lakes are somewhat dirty / oily and muddy).

Fountains with fresh water, many playing facilities for kids, free parking, a small refreshments kiosk with fair prices and wide array of (industrial) gelatos.

I only missed more public restrooms in there... I haven't actually found one inside of the park. We had to go outside, close to the parking lot where we found a squalid paid booth which we decided not to use.

I was so relaxed I actually forgot to take pictures, so I guess I will have...

It's a very huge and beautiful place for picnic specially for kids very good attractions there inside small lake you see lots of turtles which makes so attractive for kids nice and clean outside with running tracks table for eating drinking waters all corners of the parks there is inside canteen for snacks and drinks beautiful views around the park .also there is parking outside for cars ......highly recommended...

45 anni fa era un canneto con dei sentieri che lo attraversavano. In bicicletta era uno spasso. Stradine che si arrampicavano su ripide collinette e poi Giù in picchiata dentro pozzanghere fangose. Era un bel percorso nemmeno troppo corto. Già allora dominavano le imponenti sequoie. Forse le uniche che conosca dalle nostre parti. A quei tempi lo chiamavamo LAGHETTI DI TARZAN. Penso per la sua parvenza di giungla selvaggia per altro nel cuore della città. Poi un bel giorno il comune ci ha messo mano e collegandolo ad un altro parco a San Polino, oltre le rotaie, l’ha trasformato in un bellissimo parco cittadino di dimensioni doppie. Con i laghetti, con i pesci rossi e Le tartarughe. Le panchine. I sentieri ricoperti di ghiaia bianca sono stati ben formati e delimitati con staccionate. Zone attrezzate per il gioco dei bambini. Insomma Una molto bella riqualificazione a disposizione dei cittadini. Una bella oasi per gli...
