It's worth knowing that the entrance isn't immediately obvious when walking around the outside of the Cathedral (unless you approach from the right direction!). It can be found on the north side, on the street...

La cattedrale di San Giuliano è davvero bella e devo dire anche ben conservata. Belli gli affreschi e il lucernario che fa entrare una meravigliosa luce che illumina il mosaico d'oro frutto di una nuova ristrutturazione della chiesa. L'unica pecca, a mio modesto parere, è l'altare di nuova concezione che poco si sposa con l'aspetto barocco della chiesa madre. Per non parlare della bruttezza del mosaico che ritrae un agnello che tiene una bandiera crociata a mo' di stendardo, che tanto ricorda la bandiera della Croce Rossa Italiana. 🙈 Mi spiace molto per queste modifiche, che non rendono giustizia ad un capolavoro architettonico e artistico che è il Duomo di San Giuliano...
