I'm just enjoying a meal and it is an exceptional experience from start to finish 🫶. The appetizer, a delightful tuna with mayo, is simply amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The house wine complements the meal wonderfully, adding to the overall enjoyment. Both main dishes, the pizza and pasta, are incredible, with rich, authentic flavors that have left us thoroughly satisfied. To top it all off, the service is outstanding. Nella ridente città di Caltagirone, piena di meraviglie culturali e architettoniche, non ultima, la meravigliosa scalinata non mancano persone di livello e di grande ospitalità. Bisogna però evitare di andare al ristorante Dasa a sinistra della meravigliosa scalinata. La struttura appare semplice e disadorna, un evidente ristorante rivolto ai turisti. Seduti quando ancora il ristorante era praticamente vuoto, abbiamo ordinato un antipasto che è arrivato di natura assolutamente vegetale e una bottiglia d’acqua. Purtroppo la Ferrarelme etichetta nera risultava completamente degassata con un sapore stantio. Abbiamo rinviato la bottiglia e ne abbiamo chiesta un’altra che è stata riportata con le stesse pessime caratteristiche della prima. Anche una terza bottiglia questa volta della Lete è risultata non più stantia, ma comunque degassata. In attesa di un piatto di pasta, abbiamo ordinato il vino che onestamente non era male. Abbiamo ordinato la pasta proposta come un piatto della casa e dopo più di un’ora di attesa, abbiamo desistito e ci siamo allontanati pagando comunque il vino, lo scarso antipasto vegetale e il coperto. Forse è stato meglio così perché magari potevamo rischiare anche di accusare qualche dolore intestinale. Caltagirone è meravigliosa e merita una visita ma attenzione a non andare in...

Food was terrible (fried items in starter were cold, sausage too salty, overcooked beef, etc.) Terrible by any standards but an absolute shame by / for Italian standards. Even the house wine (the only option by the glass) was terrible - a first in Italy.

Some of the waiters were smiley but the guy who served us the food wasn’t, so even service sucked…
